I have an AP test next Friday. And I'm basically going to suck at it, I can tell. :sad: So I feel your pain.

She's learning the SMART kind of math :P

She's had a terrible cold for the past week. I don't think she can think straight :P The first way she did it was to move the (√a^2 + 2) over to the > 2 side, and then square both sides to get rid of the radical sign. THEN she just had a^4 + 9 > 2 + a^2 + 2, and then she quit XD. The class had already ended anyway, though. I lol'd deep inside. :lol:

You should be. I asked my math teacher if she could solve that one problem you gave me and she couldn't. Not that she had more than about four minutes, but still.

I agree. We do do a bunch of stupid essays. And we don't really... you know, study study. I mean, we DO stuff, but it isn't like we make REAL notes on a REAL text or do outlines or anything like that. Also, American teachers suck, because they have little incentive to NOT suck. (they have unions and stuff that mean even if you suck, you can basically go on sucking at teaching because... the unions have power like that.) Like, when we take notes in Bio, our teacher just makes us copy stuff she puts on an overhead, then DRAW PICTURES on the SIDE to "help us remember stuff." WTH? That is one of the WORST teaching strategies EVAR. Although NONE of the rest of our teachers suck ANYWHERE near as bad as that. Whatevers.

I love you. :hug: That's Teardrop by Massive Attack, if anybody's wondering. The producers cut out the lyrics, though, which is sad, because the person singing it has a very pretty voice. Well, I'm not sure it would sound quite right with lyrics, but it does sound nice in the original on its own.
