  1. Will is looking right at you in this one!:thumbsup:
  2. I liked San Antonio's: "Will, the scariest, but secretly the nicest member of Coldplay, are you in love? Ooooooo! Guy, the niciest, but secretely the scariest member of Coldplay, are you in love? Ooooooo!"
  3. Thanks! At least we were somewhat able to recreate the experience!

  7. Damn, you people post so much, lol. I just got back from work and over 30 pages have developed since lunch time!! So, was SoS confirmed? They played it last year in Houston, but then it disappeared not too long after and seems to not have been heard of since...

  9. Yeah, this should have had the 'Will Champion Seal of Disapproval' all over it... Bad Will! :will::whip: ARRGH I wish I was there though, especially now they are filming it! I'm really wondering if this supposed DVD will be a patchwork of different shows, so maybe they are recording different shows to see which represents the tour best? I think we are getting a DVD though! I mean, they haven't released one since 2003, and with their current popularity combined with all the filmed shows, I think it's a given! :P
  10. LOL! I think it's just the angle of the picture. HA! Chris looks sort of odd too. That's so funny!
  11. PARTY! YAY!  Damn, I wish I was home  Oh well, this always cheers me up! :D [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hH5SMT74Btc]YouTube - Coldplay Dallas, TX: 21st July, 2009 - Yellow (getting attacked by the balloons!)[/ame]
  12. That's why I'm glad I mostly have digipacks! :laugh2: Oh, and there is a slimline ''Lovers In Japan" release, I've seen it on Ebay, just not sure what country it's from...
  13. I still don't see it in the US iTunes store!?
  14. I don't believe he messed it up at the San Antonio and Houston shows... He did mess up 'Trouble' in Dallas though...
  15. Awww. that's so nice! Wish I could partake, but I'm stuck in the States and have no holiday time left
  16. Oh no! Sorry to everyone who was going to this. I too was kind of hoping they might re-schedule, and then I might get a Coldplay concert next year...
  17. Yes. Never a fan. Never will be a fan. Not a fan of Taylor Swift either, but she did not deserve that. No one does. Also these are awarded by popular vote so who can really say she didn't deserve it based on that?
  18. Wait til tomorrow for judgement
  19. Aww thanks! Yeah most of the stuff I've picked up as they come out but some of it you can only get online. I've never paid that much for any of it. I think the most expensive thing in my collection is the singles box set but I got that last year on amazon for $55, so not too bad considering. I was just lucky to collect from early on since some of the early releases are hard to find now and expensive!
  20. Oh, definately, I was just posting it as a reference :) What I thought was interesting though is that they were only 1123 away from selling out all four of those shows. That's really not much divided by two venues.
  21. Here's what they made from just four shows (2 sold out): COLDPLAY Total Gross: $5,153,172 Dates: July 18-22 Venue: Home Depot Center, Carson, Calif. (Shows: 1 / Sold Out: 0) Venue: Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, Irvine, Calif. (Shows: 1 / Sold Out: 1) Venue: Superpages.com Center, Dallas, Texas (Shows: 1 / Sold Out: 0) Venue: Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, The Woodlands, Texas (Shows: 1 / Sold Out: 1) Total Capacity: 77,534 (Attendance: 78,657)
  22. Coldplay aiming to bring summer to a close in style WELL, here is it is then, the last big outdoor gig of the summer. Oasis were both ramshackle and resurgent at Heaton Park (the last time we’ll see them? I’m not so sure…), while Doves positively shimmered at Delamere. But undoubtedly the most innovative, awe-inspiring and just plain joyous outdoor gigs of yet another meagre summer came from Take That and their sold out run at Old Trafford. Bursting – centre stage – from a flurry of airborne balloons, Mark, Gary, Howard and Jason showed just why they’re just about the hottest ticket in the country at the moment. Could they’re comeback have gone any better? Quite simply the answer is no. Hoping to harness the quartet’s ability to make a 50,000-capacity (and tired looking cricket ground) feel spectacular, yet intimate this Saturday will be Coldplay. And let’s face it, with a major label and humungous ticket sales behind them, no corners will be cut. Their arena tour, which took fourth LP, Viva La Vida, to the people last winter showed early inklings of what they had planned too. Frontman Chris ‘Ever Ready Bunny’ Martin and the boys popped up all over the M.E.N, ensuring each segment of the crowd got their personal moment in what proved two truly euphoric nights. Streets ahead of the wishy-washy indie they tend to get bandied in with (namely Athlete and Snow Patrol), those boys have the intelligence, heart and passion to turn anodyne spaces into communal throngs and I’m sure they’ll pull it off again this weekend. Plus with a bright, dry day expected and the small matter of a certain Jay-Z (plus White Lies) to warm the masses up, it could well be one of THOSE great Manchester nights. 23. I am wondering if it's going to bits from all the filmed shows to represent many of the countries they have performed in. I mean, Chicago = USA, Vancouver = Canada, Barcelona (+maybe other European shows) = Europe, etc. Maybe it will be like a film, where the individual performances are from different shows interlaced with tour diary type footage? I think they are going to release one though. After the fall-through of the X&Y tour DVD, it just makes sense. It's been 6 years since they've released one, and with their current popularity, I wouldn't be surprised if we have one just in time for Christmas...
  24. It's right around the corner from the Bakery. That's all I am going to say. I'm sure if you look around on the site, you'll find a better description! :sneaky:
