LOL, the funniest thing about the news in the Messenger is if you click on 'Strawberry Swing' it links to a picture of a strawberry on a swing, ha! I can't seem to save it out to post it here, but the JPG is titled: "astrawberryswingingbutnotastillfromthevideo.jpg" :P

Mmm, what was Will's drum tech Bash doing down there by his feet?! Was there something up with the drum set?

LOL, I believe they are at the back of the stage in a corner. There have been a few competitions where the winner has watched the concert on the stage and I think that's how it was done. Congrats BTW, it is a really great t-shirt design! So, I'm guessing since you will be on the stage that you get to meet all of them too? That would be rather odd if you don't , ha :P

Now that I think about it, maybe they dropped CSC because there were too many instrumental tracks in the show? LiT, 42, CSC, Death and All His friends are all more instrumental? Or maybe they realised they were pretty much playing the whole album other than 'Yes' and 'Reign of Love', so it's more variety?

Yeah, I noticed at last year's show in Houston, the only songs they DIDN'T play from VLVODAAHF was 'Yes' and 'Reign of Love'. Now they've also cut 'Chinese Sleep Chant'. I also find it weird they have cut 'Speed of Sound' completely from the set - that's one of their more familiar hits! Oh well, at least they change it up a bit...

They'll have the B-Stage and C-Stage... and they will have those little 'nubs' where the catwalks were in the Arena shows. I'm guessing the B-Stage will be on the right between 100 and 200 sections, and the C-Stage will be on the left between 200 and the lawn... I'm also kind of curious of the PIT - mostly how BIG it is. My ticket has 348 as the seat, so I'm guessing that means at least 348 in the PIT? That sounds like a lot... Maybe the max was 500? I'm keeping to the back of the PIT though. I don't want to have to wait all day in the heat or not be able to leave or be really hot the whole time due to body heat.

I signed it! I went to Uni in Hawaii, so have to help one of my 'adopted' states :thumbsup: I head back there about once a year or so to see friends. I'd definately go see them if they were there! I'd guess Blaisdell too, but maybe Stan Sheriff Center?

Ha, go you! I've decided to just hang at the back of the PIT in Dallas... I just can't stand this heat, lol, and I figure anywhere in the PIT is going to be amazing. Also, I want to have the freedom to come and go. I'm thinking I'll grab one of the back corners :D Anyhoo, looks like you, Angie and I are all going by ourselves, so I wouldn't worry about going alone :)

Well that's a good deal, it isn't much more than face value really, maybe $30 more... congrats :D I'd love to do PIT again in Houston, but have a feeling I will be exhausted from Dallas and will be really thankful for a seat in Houston, ha :P

LOL, I know they so need to release a video collection DVD too. I just realised the other day that the alternate Viva video is a re-hash of the Depeche Mode 'Enjoy The Silence' video! I only just noticed it when I found out it was Anton Corbijn and then saw the Depeche Mode video the other day :lol: Instead of carrying around the lawn chair, he was carrying around the picture, although at the end Chris sits on a lawn chair just like in the Depeche Mode video ending (although a much different location!) It fits so much better with Viva though, since it's about a King.

Stormer is Brit slang (and maybe other places) for something that is really great, big, excellent, etc... Which is why I'm more upset I missed it, ha. So, yes, it is a good thing :) If there is a DVD for Vancouver, I'd bet it will be of the second show.

Ha, that will be me at the Houston show with my 8th row center reserved seat... it will be much welcome after spending the previous night in the PIT :wreck::laugh3:

I'm not attempting to get anywhere near the front of PIT... Mostly because I'd rather have the freedom to move around and leave when I want, so I'm staking out a place at the back. But also I don't want to line up in the heat!

^^ I'm with you! I'm not getting there till before Coldplay comes on... I don't really care WHERE I am in the PIT, as long as I'm in it, ha! I don't want to melt and miss the performance waiting in line. With it already being 100 today here, and it being above 90 for almost a month, I have a feeling it will not be fun in July. I'm going to catch the openers in Houston, and skip them in Dallas. BTW, looks like Dallas is 'sold out' too since no tickets are available on Ticketmaster like the Houston show :)

Well, Miller mentioned the recording in the latest blog and even said the second show was a 'stormer'... now I REALLY need to go tell off my boss for canceling my Seattle work trip and therefore not letting me be part of that show and the DVD :bigcry: At least I have my PIT ticket to Dallas, which I guess wouldn't have happened if it hadn't been cancelled, so I guess it's not all bad, ha!
