This is very true, however during Kid A's release we didn't have Thom's solo album... we were kind of clueless as to what kind of style Thom's music would resemble back then, so... I mean, erm, I hope that made sense.

Erm, I can agree with this, which disappoints me for obvious fangirl reasons.

People are actually saying that? I'm not even very sure how anyone could possibly have a definite opinion of the album on it's first few days out, mind claiming it's their best or worst work.

When are Radiohead going to announce some tour dates??

ugh I hate to admit it but I think this entire time I've been slightly more excited for the tour dates than the album itself :blank: And I also doubt there is going to be a part 2 of the album at this point, especially for the previous poster's statement

I do agree, but Amnesiac is my favorite Radiohead album and The Eraser is probably in my top ten favorite albums of all time, so I am certainly not complaining.

ha, I just noticed that when i looked in the Radiohead thread and didn't see my post :disappointed: I'm so lost rn and I have like 20 tabs open that lead to RH convo /fail

...So am I only the one here that suspects their latest tweet about Japan and whatnot has to do with a possible webcast or something of that sort? :P I think it would make sense. It would happen at 4:59AM EST (the time they tweeted of) and there are huge screens all around the location that was mentioned that could definitely broadcast whatever they plan on doing. (sorry if someone already said something like this, but I'm not willing too look at all these new thread pages)

haha, that's i feel lucky i started saving to see them two years ago. Even after buying the Newspaper album I've got nearly $350 to spare for touring :P The second one gets my vote, since (as you said) they usually have some form of text on the cover. And I also find the title more legible on the second one so yeah.

^I at first wasn't ecstatic about the front or back cover, but when you look at them in high res and you see all the details they really are beautiful.

I'm not sure if Mike already pointed this out before (I would check but I'm too lazy to go through all the pages added yesterday :P), but after seeing this I'm pretty sure we can all agree TKOL is going to probably have 8 tracks.
