  1. Gosh, I hate it when people get Dom and Chris mixed up like that.
  2. Apparently, barometric pressure affects an ensemble's intonation. Ionno. This is something my band director mentioned during rehearsal this afternoon.
  3. Great band trips are great. :awesome:
  4. That's cake. I have around 2600 on my 16 GB Sony, and that's only because it won't hold anymore. I have a LOT more than that.

Uhhhhh, Theo. :bomb: :bomb: :bomb: Yeah, I agree with what Christina said. The video wave is so cool! I'm glad you had an amazing time. :nice:
  6. I used to be obsessed with it. It's because of excessive plays when I was first into Muse (and a halt of usage in Last.fm for a while so long ago) that "City of Delusion" is my most played track overall on Last.fm. Dan the Trumpet Man is legit. :awesome: I wish I could play the trumpet lick like he does. I can do it, but it's not nearly as great as when he does it.
  7. Based on what I've read on the Elbow forum, the general Elbow nation isn't very fond of "An Audience with the Pope." Given that I love this song to death, I'm disappointed. :disappointed:
  8. Oh, Jules. That first picture. It's beautiful. :bomb:
  9. OK, so out of curiosity, I just looked up The Naked and Famous. I'm actually irritated at the fact that "Young Blood" and "Punching in a Dream" sound almost identical. :|

^ :bomb: I love love LOVE that song. I know how to play the keyboard part. :awesome:
  11. :laugh4: Christina, it's just another one of those nonsense threads in The Lounge. It's OK.
  12. ^ Prime example of Muse exposure in America. I only know a handful of people myself who know them (meaning they listen to them).

Same. I can do without the books. The music is a different story. I betcha they're playing now. :cheesy:
  14. Indeed. How lucky for you guys in England. It's a much different case in the United States. :disappointed:
  15. Wow. That song is gorgeous. Thank you for sharing!
  16. Maybe to some people who don't care about them like we do, yes. But you know, their opinions shouldn't matter to us. People who generally say that don't really know Muse at all.
  17. In the Elbow forum, one of the members started a thread about this Scottish band called Kassidy. After a few listens, I've found that I quite like them. Kassidy's website I recommend listening to "Oh My God" first, then "Take Another Ride."
  18. You know, Lore, you may have a point. We'll just see what happens.

After not loving certain bands, I think I'm convinced that I'm just not a fan of surf rock. That's what Best Coast is, right?

I wasn't even trying to be analytical about it. I merely stated that the line was in there a lot, and lines that are repeated that much in one song kinda annoy me.
  21. Maybe everyone should evacuate the thread. Oh, gosh. I just got "Evacuate the Dance Floor" by Cascada in my head, and I'm replacing it with other things. OH OH, OH OH EVACUATE THE FORUM OH OH, OH OH EVACUATE THIS THREAD :blank:
  22. ^ ...Wait, what? I'm afraid I don't get what you mean by that.
