I used to be obsessed with it. It's because of excessive plays when I was first into Muse (and a halt of usage in Last.fm for a while so long ago) that "City of Delusion" is my most played track overall on Last.fm. Dan the Trumpet Man is legit. :awesome: I wish I could play the trumpet lick like he does. I can do it, but it's not nearly as great as when he does it.

Based on what I've read on the Elbow forum, the general Elbow nation isn't very fond of "An Audience with the Pope." Given that I love this song to death, I'm disappointed. :disappointed:

OK, so out of curiosity, I just looked up The Naked and Famous. I'm actually irritated at the fact that "Young Blood" and "Punching in a Dream" sound almost identical. :|

Maybe to some people who don't care about them like we do, yes. But you know, their opinions shouldn't matter to us. People who generally say that don't really know Muse at all.

In the Elbow forum, one of the members started a thread about this Scottish band called Kassidy. After a few listens, I've found that I quite like them. Kassidy's website I recommend listening to "Oh My God" first, then "Take Another Ride."

You know, Lore, you may have a point. We'll just see what happens.

After not loving certain bands, I think I'm convinced that I'm just not a fan of surf rock. That's what Best Coast is, right?

I wasn't even trying to be analytical about it. I merely stated that the line was in there a lot, and lines that are repeated that much in one song kinda annoy me. :shrug:
