Ok, this thread is in dire need of more pictures! :dance: But first a few responses: Hey girls!! So great to meet you (and Logarithm too)! So glad you got a good spot up front :) Hey somniture! I am not sure where you were sitting, but from where I was in the pit there were hundreds of people singing along and bouncing and screaming and surging forward whenever Chris or the other guys were standing near them on the stage...the fans around me were singing all the words and clapping madly and everything a band could want from an audience :D I'm sorry to hear the reaction you saw from the audience was not that great, I know it's much more fun to be around other enthusiastic music fans :) Yes, that was pretty much my experience too Logarithm. I do also hope the guys were happy with the response from the excited fans and not too bothered by the folks who were not as visibly into it. It takes all kinds, you know! Some people don't jump or sing along, that's not to say they didn't enjoy the music in their own way ;) Me too! It was great. Ok, pictures coming next...

Just back from the show and downloading pictures now. Got a couple of money shots but the rest are crap - Mr. Martin just a big blur in different poses :laugh3: However I was standing in front of Guy so I do have some excellent pictures of him to post! Was great to meet some Coldplayer there, what a blast! More tomorrow, I'm wrecked - night all :kiss:

Hey peeps! Last night I saw Keane in DC and they kicked butt! It was a good warm up for Coldplay for sure :-) Got some amazing pictures and really hope security is cool about cameras so I can get some pictures tomorrow night :dance: Can't wait to meet the coldplayers! Hoping to get there around 4:15 or 4:30 and my friends and I are bringing a couple of decks of cards so we can pass the time in the pit until all the casual fans show up closer to 7:00 :laugh3: Nothing more to say, just aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Oh, and sorry if you wind up standing next to me because I plan to sing my heart out through the whole show LOL!

FOUR days! So excited, been listening to LRLR and getting so pumped. I was going to suggest meeting up somewhere before the show so we could all talk but I think many of us are in the pit anyway and want to get a good spot... so how will we all know each other? :D

Thanks for that info, I am getting worried I won't get there early enough but I have to keep reminding myself that the view will be good in the pit no matter where you wind up (well at least it should be ok for me because I am tall :D). Anyway, congrats on winning tickets, that's very cool! So people, ONE WEEK to the show, who's getting pumped?! :dance: I am also going to the Keane concert on Tuesday, anyone here going?

Sorry I can't help with a ride, I'm coming from the other direction. Good luck, I am sure someone will be willing to help out! Does anyone know yet about how the pit is working? Is it a lottery thing or do we need to get in line at the gates and rush straight to the pit when the gates open? Just trying to figure out how early to get there to meet up with coldplayers from here :)

Have you chicks read the latest posts in the FB group, under 'official site'? Echicca noticed that on apparatjik.com in the datascroll thingy, there is a new(ish?) phrase that says: Bring on the music, boys :dance: Gonna share some of the new stuff you guys discovered over on FB - be sure to check in there and post too because not all the a-ha and Mew folks come here for updates ;)

Hey Paula, I noticed a lot of things having Magne's stamp on them but I wasn't sure if that was because I know him best of the four :D I don't know much at all about Martin or Jonas and I am learning about Guy thanks to you lovelies (*mwah), so I figured I was just clueless on what things they have personally contributed. Still, let's hope more of the other guys shine through soon!

Sorry to be so quiet lately, there's been some stuff going on for a-ha (alas, my first band love - le sigh!) and I've been distracted by bright shiny things :D Thanks for keeping up with Apparatjik, so glad I can get caught up thanks to you Berry girls! Counting down to Coldplay on May 21, not long now :dance:

Just checked and none of the ladies has tweeted yet, but they all have profiles on Twitter. Wondering if we will find something there in the coming days now too... I must admit it's quite a diversion following Apparatjik - never a dull moment, you know, except when it's totally dull :laugh3:
