  1. Yep. Well they're acupuncture/acupressure points. They're usually more effective when needled though. Anyway I should probably go, I have to be out of here in 8 hours to get to class :dozey: Nice chatting to you all, see you later! :D
  2. I actually don't think I've ever seen a nice post by that poster
  3. ^^ I'm pretty much the same I won't deny I wan't obsessed for a short period of time but that's passed now :p
  4. OK Ly :D I know a few Emilys, one of them being my sister. They're all very nice though :cheesy: Haha, that's a pretty decent nap. If I sleep during the afternoon though I can't function afterwards; I pretty much become a zombie :P
  5. Oh man, I don't know where to start :wacky: It's so much more complicated than you'd expect, I really have no idea what to say that won't make me sound like a nutcase if you're a bit of a sceptic :P Actually wait, I've found out that acupuncture can actually treat pretty much anything, including mental illness, fertility problems and even cancer :surprised: Also, I've learned that there are in excess of 350 points on the human body and I have to know all of them! Haha.
  6. Oh yeah, that's what I study. It's awesome  So how far away is "tonight"? :p
  7. Oh, I apologise for living in the middle of nowhere for the majority of my life and not having access (or not realising how to get access...) to the wonderful world of music I now know  Phoenix didn't play at BDO, lol. I was there, saw Kasabian the night before BDO and have seen them again since, they're great :D I've got a pretty big list of the bands I like lol, but I like all the bands in your list (with the exception of Lior, All Time Low and Augastana, but I don't actually know them :P). It also changes, at the moment a few of my favourites are Foals, Two Door Cinema Club, Florence and the Machine, the Strokes, Mumford and Sons, Arcade Fire and Cloud Control :wacky: I only really started getting into music last year though.
  8. Hey Lyvie! I'm pretty good thanks, how are you? :D
  9. Ahh that sucks, why were you sleeping on the sofa? I'm trying to figure out point classification (aaaaand cue freaky acupuncture terminology :p) and memorise point locations and write up notes, but I'm finding it hard to concentrate (obviously) :P I still don't understand the nickname...
  10. It's funny, because 18 up here is bordering on slightly cool and therefore jeans weather (for me) :P
  11. Haha, that has happened to me with SO many bands, and usually it's only within a couple of months of them touring! I'm learning to get on top of it all now though :P Well I started liking them when I got Viva la Vida, and then liked them more after delving into their back catalog a bit. I signed up to here literally the day after I saw them in Melbourne last year, in my crazy-obsessed post-concert state :P What other kind of stuff do you listen to?
  12. moo..? :p I'm afraid I probably won't be on here long again :( And this will probably happen for the majority of the rest of the year, due to uni etc. Whatcha all doing? :D
  13. Hey everyone! Awww how sweet of you  What do you like to be called on here? :nice: Yeah I left kinda abruptly the other night, no-one was on and I was mega-tired so yeah... Splendour was AMAZING!!! Oh how I'd love to do it all over again
  14. Agree! The last song is gorgeous, it gives me chills :wacky:
  15. Ahaha so it's nice and wet too then! :P I'm in Brissy, spent last year in Melbs though and loved it! so yeah it's not actually that cold here, though it has been raining the past few days. You been a coldplay fan for long? :nice:
  16. Well hi :D Not really, I had Splendour a few weeks ago and now it's getting back into the routine of uni... whereabouts are you from, if you don't mind me asking? :)
  17. Haha, this could get interesting :P

They were, I was on the barrier and off to the side a bit so I managed to avoid the worst of the moshing but Julian kept telling everyone to look after each other; he seemed really concerned for the audience! And yes, He's basically the essence of "f*cking awesome!!" on stage :P He was gorgeous  Funny that you said that about BDO, I also wore a white shirt to BDO and it never recovered :P
  19. Arcade Fire :D

    Things - Frightened Rabbit
  22. Hmm, I was hoping that Arcade Fire would be the only big act on the lineup for me so I could get away with just going to a sideshow. But I might just have to go anyway :P
  23. Nah, a bit too much icy nothing-ness for my liking. I like snow, but not that much. I like pengiuns though :wacky: OK this is getting way off topic, haha. ARCADE FIRE
  24. Not if I put the album somewhere colder than NZ! Sorry.
