  1. I'm thrilled to be going on my first REAL trip to Mexico!! On the original announcement, it said that the Banamex presale would be this Thurs and Fri, and that the general public onsale would be Sat. But TM.com.mx says the public onsale is also on Thurs..? Does anyone know what's going on??
  2. Just watched a bunch of Herning vids on YouTube. That screen is INSANE.
  3. Well here I am in Raleigh-Durham airport, was about to fly to Tampa when a friend tipped me off that Tampa is postponed!!! I was able to change my flight and I'm going home. None of the boys seemed sick or off last night in Charlotte.. don't know what's the deal. Hope everyone is okay. The end-of-US-tour celebration will just have to wait till another time.
  4. I've been to a bunch of shows, and people have been allowed to bring in non-professional cameras (i.e. no detachable lenses) at every show. Using flash is fine. I have a pit ticket... though I'm not sure how well I'm going to hold up in the heat...
  5. ^^^ From last year's tour (2008), they basically swapped out Speed of Sound and Chinese Sleep Chant for Glass of Water and LIT ii. Unfortunately they can't just keep stretching out the set list longer and longer.
  6. Everyone has been standing.
  7. I've been to a bunch of shows, and for amphitheatre gigs, the C stage is always near the front of the lawn on Jonny's side.
  8. Have fun everyone!! I originally had tix to both Portland and Gorge, but schedule didn't permit it... You guys are in for a treat. :)

  11. I have an extra single ticket for this show, section 114, row 2, seat 7. http://www.greatseats.com/seating_charts/Sleep_Train_Amphitheatre_CA_103548.asp Ticket cost me $124.15 with all fees. Will sell for $100 or best offer. If interested please PM me. P.S.. What the heck is the "Sleep Train" anyway??
  12. ^^^ Yeah, even the last row of the pit is better than the first row of seats. Plus, you get to lean against the back rail instead of having to stand totally upright for hours. Not too shabby, I would say.
  13. I had GA pit for Hartford. I arrived at the venue at 5pm, doors opened at 7. I was able to get in the second row of people right behind the rail... It was as good as being right in front as the two people in front of me were separated. The only issue is that once you stake out your spot, you can't really leave to get something to eat or go to the bathroom. So I would pack a snack or something. The other issue was, there was a bit of confusion once the gates opened at 7. People ran to an area near the entrance to the floor, where they were giving out wristbands for people with pit tickets. It was a little chaotic as people were pushing and shoving to get a wristband (there was no "line" per se), then they made all the people with wristbands on get in another line. The pit procedure is probably different in different venues. Just be aware that you need to stay alert regarding what is happening.
  14. I've uploaded my video of GPASAYF/Talk. I was situated right in front of the B stage so I had a great view. I also synced up separate audio (recorded from same show of course) so it sounds a lot better than the original audio from my camera. 15. I am an "older" fan  and I do work... to support my concert-going habit. :)
  16. Great show last night! re: the booing after Chris joked it might be another 10 years before they came back: I thought his "Don't boo!" comment was a spontaneous reaction that any performer would have upon hearing boos. Of course everyone understood that the booing was actually a compliment--i.e., "We don't want you to stay away for so long; we LIKE you, Coldplay!" and in retrospect I'm sure Chris understood that too. But I think his initial gut reaction was surprise and hurt. Just like the audience's gut reaction was, "No, come back sooner." It was a miscommunication which resulted in an awkward moment.
  17. Thanks for the kind welcome! It'll be my first visit to Winnipeg and I'm looking forward to it!
  18. Yep I'm at the Houston airport waiting to catch my flight to Des Moines!!! Whoopie!!!
  19. Sorry folks I am on the road without all my files, otherise I would post some pics/vids to keep the thread alive!
  20. ^It was a bit more high tech than a pocket recorder... But I'm thrilled that you all are enjoying the results!! That's one of my biggest incentives for taping--knowing that other fans will get a kick out of hearing it!
