I've seen that cover, I love it, Damon and the band look so young and happy. I assume it's already on sale, right? :surprised: --- Wow, so many dates! Was especially surprised by the festival in Mexico, who would've believed it. I'm reading in the Blur forums about how people are saying it's overkill that they're doing a 'third big tour without a new album', but personally I think it's a very wise move to visit all the people who haven't even had Blur step foot in their country in at least a decade. A fourth tour without new material? Hmm, that's something different. But right now, it's really exciting to see every festival being announced one by one. :wacky:

On the news, after they do 5 1-hour features for some random family that lives in Newtown and their personal life (which I'm sorry, but irritates me greatly), they're having like 5 small shootings or death threats in the news from people who the news claim to be 'inspired' by Sandy Hook. Was gun violence always this bad, and they're just reporting every single thing to scare people, or has it increased dramatically in the past few days of the shooting?

No... I think you misunderstood what I said. I never said everyone should agree with each other all the time. My post was about respect for other people. You can have a very strong opinion on something and argue it while still being respectful. Why the hell would I listen to someone's argument when they're calling me 'fake' and 'not a real fan' when I didn't even provoke them in the first place. That's what I was trying to hit the nail on the head on: when we have discussions on here about Coldplay's success vs. their overall image (which is frequent), there is a group of people who like to turn against their own fanbase and imply that those people are worth less than themselves. The fact that someone would consider this a good argument and part of a civilized debate is laughable.

Well... a lot of pregnant women find new hobbies to do because they need to be occupying time, cos they can't be getting up and sprinting around, you know? So maybe give her an arts and crafts thing she can do? Or some brainteaser? Maybe make her a mixtape of music she can listen to? Make a little book of all the reasons why you appreciate her and get other people to write stuff as well? I don't know Better to give her something handmade or inexpensive than spending money on something she won't use EDIT: Oh is maternity leave after you've given birth? Oh. If I hear the word 'fake fan' on this forum one more time, I think I'll implode :bomb: I think Coldplay has gained a lot more fans. The fans who stopped listening are irrelevant compared to the many many new fans they gained. And most of us pre-MX Coldplay fans still listen, regardless of what we think of the new album. I think it's crazy to force yourself to not listen to a band just because you don't like one album.

It's nice because maybe someone else can see that post and think, 'oh yeah, I forgot how awesome that girl is.' This thread is so that we can talk about people and memories as a group, rather than something less interactive like a PM. Also, it's nice to open a thread and see that you are appreciated and that you are in people's minds, which is why I guess you wouldn't make this post if you were mentioned more ? What? Surely if you've become friends with someone they will mention you, and that comes from talking to them a few times. You can't be offended because you didn't make an effort to talk to anyone and as a result they don't have you in their mind.
