I am very much loving to like to play my acoustical stringed instrument to the musical stylings of Martins timeless 1980s anthem 'Fix You' and I has made some editions to the lyrics of Cristov Martin which I think have very much perhaps improved the song, if not completed it! Also I think my chord progressions are very much better than Martins because Martin is just all "Oh I will fingerpick the same four chords!", but Yossarian is all "Oh I will fingerpick those four chords alright, but I shall throw in a DIMINISHED SEVENTH", which Martin would never and has never done because he is not a real musician he is sort of like the indie equivilant of Avril Lavinge. :laugh3: But yes these are the new lyrics, tell Martin and I what you think! This is the reason Yossarian does not own a television. Aside from not having to fork out a couple of hundred pounds a year, Yossarian can still watch the worthwhile shows (IE, Peep Show) on 4OD (Channel 4, Overdose) with less adverts than you stupid tv-owners have to put up with, not to mention iPlayer. And all the respectable programmes (usually american) are up for piracy pretty much instantly anyway. DITCH YOUR TELEVISIONS PEOPLE. The only worthwhile thing the license fee permits us is http://www.bbc.co.uk/news, and the corrupt cocaine-addled BBC have their fingers in so many pies, their not likely to go under any time soon.

LOL It's a VERY obvious lyric. The kind of thing I expect from both Coldplay AND Taylor Swift - they both write music for an intellectual devoid target audience, and anything slightly-far-from-obvious would just confuse and alienate their oh-so-mainstream audiences. So no, Taylor Swift didn't steal this lyric from Coldplay. They both just wrestled it from the realm of the infinitely clichéd, with hands composed of dollar bills.

Woah mang, I must have been so high when I wrote this! There is a really yummy record shop in the indoor section of Camden market, up towards Chalkfarm... probably the only worthwhile shop in Camden, actually, other than the world-y religious stalls in the indoor market near the bridge. If anyone good is playing and it's not too late to get tickets, go and see someone at either The Koko (Camden again, I'm afraid) or Union Chapel (Islington, North London, near Camden)... both really delicious and beautiful venues. I saw Animal Collective and Andrew Bird at each respective venue last year and have to say I enjoyed them more than any festival I've ever been to. I cannot stress how important it is you try and see a band at one of them while you're in town. I forget what its called but if you're more into 'music shops' than record shops theres a road in London thats deservedly famous for it! I forget what its called but its the same road The Astoria (venue) used to be on, before(?) they shut it down. Google can help you. Enjoy the city.
