  1. YEAH! I can never get sick of that song! Also, Rainy Day. And Crests of Waves. Ahh... who am I kidding? All of 'em! 8D Bahahaha - yes! I can never get sick of that little gem. "Signed, world sexiest vegetarian, 2005" 8D

Why is it that this gorgeous song is so under appreciated?! Rainy Day is one of my absolute favourite Coldplay tunes, simply because of how happy it makes me whenever I decide to take my dog for a stroll down the street. Having this musical delight blaring in my ear makes the day so much brighter. So tell me: do you think Rainy Day is absolute trash, or is truly a gem that is underrated? :D
  3. Not too sure about this one, but is it Chinese Sleep Chant? "... I just don't want to go"
  4. Ah, Yes. The very first song I fell in love with on the new album, but now I tend to skip over it to get to the fabulous Strawberry Swing more than I'd like to. The song was the first one that really hit me on Viva la Vida, and I couldn't stop singing it and giggling over Chris's sexy low register for days. Him singing low is divine! Hmm... now I have the biggest urge to listen to it... 8D
  5. Yep, you've got it exactly right. I recall in an interview Chris gave that he mentioned the song's title was a tribute to The Beatles. ^^ Of course, that doesn't mean Strawberry Swing isn't just a Beatles tribute, it probably means everything else that you guys said as well, IMO.
  6. I also am a huge fan of A Whisper, which I think is one of their most underrated songs! I agree with everything you said, and Chris's voice sounds so hypnotic, and the 'swinging' (dunno if that's the right word) feel of the guitar throughout the song except for the 'chorus' ("I hear the sound of the ticking of clocks...") just makes the song so great! I also love Daylight, another underrated song off the album in my opinion...
  7. Although it's not one of the options: STRAWBERRY SWING. Need I say more? Something about that spunky, oddly-familiar superhero flying in the night sky that makes me swoon. :D
  8. I'm quite a fan of Animals' lyrics as well. I love Amsterdam's lyrics - never ceases to make me cry if I'm feeling down in the dumps - and What If has beautiful lyrics. Hahahah - THE NAPPIES! Definitely. :D
  9. Yeah! That Kelly Rowland song - "When Love Takes Over" or whatever - is so similar to Clocks that when I first heard it I screamed out 'SHE'S NOT CHRIS MARTIN!' No, really. I did. D: Anyway, yeah. It's disgraceful! The Oracle (coldplay.com) said that it's similar, but not similar enough to deserve a lawsuit...
