I did try that, once when I was trying to convince her I said "Okay mom, if you're so worried about rapist parents why don't you try to meet some of my friend's parents?" And ohh, how nicely she responded; "I don't have to be friends with your friends parents ok?" UGGHH, and they invited me to go to a friends house today at four, and I asked her just right now, and she told me the usual and then I said "Mom, I KNOW that nothing will happen" And she just ignored me.

She knows my friends, but not their parents. They all live kind of close by but I'm the only one who lives sort of far away.. but not that much like maybe less than 5 minutes in a car. Awe~ I would love to hang out with you :wacko: BUT MY MOM WOULDN'T LET ME ;_;

My mom is really uptight she won't even let me read Harry Potter because she thinks it's ungodly or something. But anyways, all of my friends are visiting eachother in the summer and having fun and I'm just in my house doing nothing because my mom won't let me go anywhere. She says that she doesn't trust anybody she doesn't know, and I can agree with that but I can't do homework assignments or just to simply hang out I'M SO BORED HERE UGH. She thinks that they're going to rape me or something or not take care of me and I'll drift off somewhere else. I try to explain her that I can take care of myself and It's not like I'll be in the middle of the road and I know my friends and their parents and what are the chances that I'm friends with a person who has rapists as parents? But she just gets angry and stubborn. None of my friends invite me to their birthdays because they know I'm not allowed ): THIS IS SAD PLEASE HELP ME ;__;

I feel like I am but I still act like a 14 year old sometimes. Like what I find funny or etc, but I don't know. But most of the 14 year olds I know are really dumb and I feel kind of isolated but I do have some friends that aren't like that.
