I just had to go and check how many songs I had on my iPod after this discussion-- I have 2651 songs. I can't believe it. As we can potentially tell by that figure I am a musical fiend. I am always buying albums and downloading songs. About 70% of my wages go to music in some form or another (the rest is food and bills :awesome:) I have to disagree with single choices re: Muse. I have to say I quite liked that they released Undisclosed Desires from The Resistance and was glad it became a single (mainly because that meant you could hear it on the radio). But beyond that... Eh, the choices could have been better-- but I think it was to make Muse more readily accessible?

Yeah. It's weird, there was a curfew of 11. I think it might be because the venue is in the middle of town or something. I've never seen a curfew at any of my other events in town-- but this was a new venue so IDK. So Hurts ultimately played for about 70 minutes or so I guess? :thinking:

Hihi. They did indeed play Mother Nature last night in Brighton. Twas fabulous! Basically the whole set list was amazing, more than you could ask for really. They made it count and ended up playing right until curfew at 11 (there were some technical issues for the Saint Saviour support act which meant the gig didn't start until 8:15 rather than 7:45). I was lucky enough to get barrier, slightly off to one side... Closest to Adam rather than Theo. Also was really, really lucky because Theo noticed I was recording on my camera so came right up to me and gave my camera a wave. I was so excited that I dropped it so my recording has some brilliant barrier shots for a bit :bomb:. After the song though, he said thanks and went to throw me one of the white roses they were dishing out... And this girl literally leapt over my head to get it... Missed thankfully, so I had it.... :D For all of two seconds until the other girl snatched it and disappeared into the crowd (I was not losing barrier for it). :bigcry: So yeah. I'm so not. At first I sort of liked her. But my housemates play her on loop all day every day... And learn the dances ect. It gets on your nerves a bit.

Dang. I guess it is the same with me and like, some of my abstract bands. No one knows them and it makes me sad :bigcry: Welllll... I haven't got that far in the book yet. But at the moment I am under the impression that they signed to different labels for distribution in the different countries. I will see what comes of it. I've been so busy that I haven't read any more of it since lunch Tuesday.

Yeah. I'm just not a Gaga fan at all. And I'd actually like to see Muse do their Muse thing. If they collab with Lady Gaga surely they're just going to be: 'that band from Twilight that performed with Lady Gaga' and ewwww, DNW.

It lead to quite an interesting Muse discussion amongst non-Musers and moi. Friend 1: Wait, they have a biography already? Me: Well, they've been signed since 1999. So yeah, that's 12 years of career to cover.Friend 2: I thought they only had one album? Friend 1: Yeah, they've only been around for like two years right? So then my phone goes off and I go to talk to my Mum. When I return I find the three of them pawing through the photos in the book. Friend 1: Are they like, gay? As a return heads up... I use it wayyy too much. IDK, I was all like Twitter is overrated, I don't get it. Then my brother was all like I have Twitter, you should get Twitter. We can keep up with each other then. So I got it for him. Then he stopped Tweeting and I was already obsessed and it was too late to get me out :disappointed:
