me too but to be honest i've only ever heard chasing cars, spitting games, take back the cities and open your eyes on the radio. Except for chasing cars i've only heard the others once :/ it's a shame that people seem to only know them for chasing cars and run, they don't know what they're missing out on

i know! the thing is though i noticed it wasn't just coldplay who's sound quality was good but all the bands i watched had great sound quality, the organisation up at oxegen was really well set up. Yeah, the crowd and the band just seemed to be singing as one the whole time, it was a truly surreal experience.

96FM are the worst for it i think. I think since nearly every day after Michael Jackson died they've played one of his songs. The Snow Patrol song i hear them play the most is the mash-up of chasing cars and every breathe you take. So glad i'm able to listen to BBC radio 1 on my itouch or on the internet :)

listening to it again it has a similar sound to something Friendly Fires would do. I'm intrigued by how he said it's all very vague and that there are different types of songs all in the album. This will either turn out really well or it'll be an experiment to forget i think.

it really is different! love the lyrics to it too and the music is great. tis a good song :D Fallen Empires is the new album's name :D awesome name :D EDIT: Also what did Gary say about touring? I didn't make it out at the time

i'm looking forward to hearing this new direction they've taken. No way can I wait till the song is released in september though, way too long! I'm hoping though for either a more retro Snow Patrol touch (1st two albums) or an Eyes Open influence. I don't have any fear in it being bad, Snow Patrol don't have any bad songs in my opinion

i wouldn't believe what the scum says. I think we can only wait for when Coldplay or EMI announce it themselves which will hopefully be soon! And going by what the music shop sites are saying I think are rough guesses, I think they've all been told by EMI it'll be late October and they've picked a date then that seems possible.

it looks great and just like everything else invented over the years like cars or computers i can't wait to see this improve and develop in the future. If I win the lottery or find oil i'll be definitely getting one of them haha

just watching a video from the Oxegen crew and from 2 minutes 5 seconds till 2 minutes 8 seconds I found myself at the front for Coldplay enjoying the awesome performance. Pity about the persons long blue arm in my face though :/

You're All I Have - Snow Patrol

it is a pity there wasn't video coverage but again as i've said mtv were recording it so it'll be there some time in the future. It was an amazing night, the sound set up and the chemistry between the boys and the crowd was incredible, better than glasto in my opinion, in fact the best one of the summer.

I can't wait for thursday now! and I love the look of that pie chart thing in the article, especially the festival anthems part of it. To be honest though I think they will never beat the 4th album Eyes Open but I am really excited to hear this new turn from them. As usual Gary has come up with some beautiful titles and i'm looking forward to discovering my inner dance monkey :D haha. One thing I do agree with in the article is what he said about Snow Patrol having the potential to over take Coldplay in stadium filling performances and to be honest they've earned it! :)

it was great but i know, there's no quality videos up :/ on the bright side i asked a cameraman if it would be on TV and he said MTV so look out for it in the future

i can't find a video of it but there is audio available but for me it has to be Everything's Not Lost at Oxegen on Sunday. I've seen it played on youtube from each time at Glastonbury and so far on this summer tour a lot but when i was there the band and crowd just unified as one and connected. It was quite an emotional performance in my opinion especially with Chris saying how it made all the 'bullshit and nonsense they go through as a band' go away. It just seemed different in comparison to the other times they've played it and I feel that it was more special, almost like a new song being played for the first time.

i saw them over the weekend up at oxegen. They were amazing and I even got a setlist too :D he came into the crowd as well, it was awesome. Definitely have gained more respect for them and like them a hell of a lot more now too!

it's in the multimedia section, it's missing some of the songs but it's perfect other than that
