  1. ^ Ha ha I had iTunes on random and that version came on about an hour ago. I thought to myself, "I like this live version better than the studio version because of Jonny's part." :| I'm not sure that was the peak of his skills though. Will have to wait until LP5, as apparently he is doing all sorts of experimentation and stuff.
  2. :stunned: Oh wow, I didn't realize that! Proms have been around here since at least the 1950s... probably even the early 1900s.
  3. Umm, what? She's not that old.
  4. So, since his site made the top 10... how do we go about deciding which song he will cover?
  5. GO BRUTUS!
  6. But we don't get those two songs with our pre-order
  7. * why do I feel so dirty right now *
  8. This was probably already theorized by someone somewhere but I don't really follow atease, so anywho I had a thought... I think the cover of TKOL will have the text on the front "cut out", and the picture of the band underneath when you open it. Basically on your avi Mike the letters look like the black and white photo is underneath it. And the hands of the ghosts almost exactly match up vertically with their blurred hands in the picture. Again, somebody has probably already thought of this, but it just popped in my head today. EDIT: Different topic, but I decided to click on the advertisement link for fun, and it leads you to order direct from TBD records. If you order it there, you also get "Bonus 2 song pre-release download from tbd records artist Other Lives". :|

  21. ^ now I feel bad for posting this, but... __________________________________ Charlie Sheen sets Ticketmaster record Detroit, Chicago shows sellout in 18 minutes Well, we've given him another reason to yell "Winning!" According to entertainment website TMZ, Charlie Sheen has set a Ticketmaster record after his Detroit and Chicago shows sold out in just 18 minutes. The mini-tour is being called "My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not an Option Show". According to celeb gossip guru Perez Hilton, the tour is expected to expand to another 20-30 cities which could include shows in Europe and even Australia. Despite the negative attention surrounding the actor right now, some good is set to come out of the tour. Sheen's website says one dollar from every ticket sold will go to the American Red Cross to help victims of the Japan earthquake. http://www.wxyz.com/dpp/entertainment/celebrity/charlie-sheen-sets-ticketmaster-record

Wow, I'm sorry to hear that. It must have been very unsettling to realize that it happened while you were there. I've never had my home broken into, but several years ago someone stole my car. I was working at a shopping mall, and after we closed I went into the parking lot and it was just plain gone. Not even any broken glass on the ground where my car was. It was an older car, a 1985 Buick Regal Limited, but it was sentimental because it was passed down from my grandparents (my grandpa worked in the factory where it was built). It was a little scary though to know that whoever stole it now had our address from the info in the glove compartment (I was still living with my parents at the time). It was a pain because I had no choice but to go buy another car that weekend, which was quite a financial strain given that I was only working part-time. But we got a phone call almost exactly one month later, the police found the car. Of course at that point it didn't do much good, because it's not like I could return the new car. So we went to the impound lot where the police took it, and looked to see if there was anything of value still inside. The outside was a bit banged up, I guess when the police were trying to pull them over they gave chase and ran into some things along the way. We opened up the trunk and saw they removed my softball equipment and added a few items of their own... big ol' speakers, several knives, a hatchet, a cleaver, etc. :freak: I'm not sure why the police didn't confiscate those. Anyway, the whole experience was a bit traumatic. I felt a bit violated I suppose. I couldn't get much sleep the first few nights afterward.
  23. Interesting, but I'm not sure I buy it from a logistical standpoint, at least not in the short term. Short term meaning the Spring theory; whether it be Ides of March or first day of Spring. I just can't see them releasing something else (or even announcing another release) before the physical release of TKOL on March 29. If this theory does carry any weight, I think it would be more around the time frame that I theorized from the beginning... Earth Day (in April). That would be more appropriate in timing and in keeping with the tree-hugging mentality of it (and them). Or maybe even on "Record Store Day"; I think that's the third Saturday in April? EDIT: I just realized this "seasonal" theory would discriminate against people in the southern hemisphere.
  24. Are you a February 29th baby or something?
  25. I was actually going to say WAT but yeah, what you said.
