I read it so quick, at first I read it wrong. I thought, "Nancy woudn't send!..."

I saw in a TV special awhile ago, I think it was one of those '100 greatest artists' or 'greatest songs' shows, that Thom Yorke despises Creep and they don't play it live anymore. Is that true?

I have a feeling Black Keys won't be there, they just announced they are canceling all sorts of stuff due to exhaustion

He could be right, maybe he does have inside info, but at the same time that's stuff that anybody could reasonably guess. He also said this stuff about LP5 (contradictory themes, probably neither of which will hold up in the end), so I'm not going to hold my breath as far as relying on his info for a definitive release date:

Why do you feel weird for saying it? :surprised: Did you not like Radiohead before? In regard to their voices sounding similar, it reminds me of a friend of mine from high school. I knew he was always into music, and now it turns out he made his own little record company and fronts a band (although it's Christian rock, so it's not really a "standard" band). He's a fan of Coldplay and Radiohead, and although he hasn't told me so, probably Muse. I watched one of his videos a few months ago and the first thing I thought was that his voice sounded like Matt Bellamy. :|

I think she has just opened up an unintentional can of worms and now she is going to get even more questions asking, "oh, by what you said on January 18th do you think that LP5 is coming out soon?" Really, I don't think that's what she meant. Sure it would be nice, but I don't think so.

I think she just means she's tired of our lame questions and wants some better ones :|

Interesting. This morning I received an e-mail response regarding my original inquiry. Keep in mind my original inquiry was submitted December 29th, so this is almost 3 full weeks later. Okie dokie. Anyway, their response said that I need to submit a formal complaint letter via mail along with the original tickets, and then they will "investigate the claim and prepare a full written response. Any compensation payable will be determined at this time and will be calculated in accordance with our Passenger's Charter and the National Rail Conditions of Carriage." So basically this won't be resolved for another month or so (if at all). Craptacular.

Funny little story: When I came home my husband saw the Best Buy bag and he asked me what I got. I told him I bought a Radiohead CD. He had this snarky little smirk for a brief moment and then we were talking about other stuff, but the snarky little smirk reemerged. I asked him why he was smirking and he said, "oh, it's just funny, if you would have bought that when we were first going out I probably would have broken up with you." I laughed and asked why he said that, and he said it was because apparently ICP and Radiohead had some sort of beef back in the day, and got into a fight or something. And he used to be a hard-core ICP fan, so... yeah. Funny.

Okay so after I got out of work I stopped by Best Buy to pick up In Rainbows, so I could listen to (most of) it on my way home. Initial reaction:

Well first of all, it depends if he even runs. He said in an interview that he would rather be a good one-term President than a blah two-term President. BUT, assuming he does try for a second term, it really depends on who he's running against. I'm curious to see how much of an effect the Tea Party will have in the 2012 election, because one of them might end up on the Republican ticket. I thought the world was supposed to end before the election in November?

I guess my issue is when I want to get 'into' a band, I don't want to half-ass it. My fear is just that... I'll only like half their stuff. Isn't some of their work more techno-y? Because I'm typically not into that.

Hmm. In Rainbows seems to be the general concensus in terms of a 'starting point'. I suppose that might be good because as I mentioned in my first post, a few weeks ago I watched a live version of House of Cards. I was mildly mesmerized. I thought, wow, Yorkie has a voice like buttah.

Yeah becuase I just NEEDED to hear more Jay-Z and autotune \m/ The autotune-ish part of Rainy Day was an epic fail. I don't want to hear Coldplay do that ever again.
