  1. Well, I suppose there were a few frats and sororities but I don't know where they were located (and I was living with my parents at the time). Even so, I don't think they were very party-oriented. Of course, after I graduated they built dorms on campus so it isn't as much of a "commuter" campus anymore and there's probably a lot more parties. LOL UNIVERSITY KIDS R TAKING OVER THA HOOD
  2. ^ So how much loud partying goes on during the weekend? I've always wondered whether the "stories" are accurate or exaggerated. / I went to a "commuter" campus so I had zero experience edit: oh yeah, to keep on topic of weather, we'll get snow tomorrow morning
  3. Graham Norton had one of those on his show last week. (Yes, I've started watching his show on BBC America :dazzled: )
  4. dope like soap on a rope
  5. I'm a bit indifferent about Valentine's Day now. If my dude wishes me a "Happy Valentine's Day", that's more than enough for me. Working in a jewelry store for a few years and having to work long hours because of all the last-minute shoppers kind of wore out the ambiance for me. And I don't really like getting flowers. Because if I get a whole bunch of flowers, that means in a short amount of time I'm going to have to look at a whole bunch of stinky death. That's depressing. If you want to get me flowers that much, just give me one; that way I will only have to look at a little bit of death when it withers up.
  6. It appears they get some demented pleasure out of announcing stuff around Valentines's Day and/or doing it as a fuck-you-post-Grammy-snub.
  7. Seeing that a report was sent out with a section titled "Morality Experience" instead of "Mortality Experience". of course only an actuarial nerd would think that is funny
  8. Finally snowing. We've hardly had any snow so far this winter!

  11. That was my reaction. :| He was like, "is there anything I can do to help you with dinner" and I said "yeah you can get the eggs out of the fridge and crack them in this glass bowl" and he's like "okay but I've never cracked an egg before." HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?!? I asked him a few times if he was kidding, but he wasn't. Although he looked a bit awkward, he managed to do it without getting any shells in the bowl. :nice:
  12. ima bear, mmhmmm You are a Bear! (your score: 30) Characters: Arcas, Skaris, Torin, Eneas, and Ladek in the Aspect of Crow trilogy; Darien in "The Wild's Call" Powers: Fighting ability—strength and speed—along with powers of strategic thinking You're #1! At least, you're happiest when in charge. You lead with courage, integrity, and compassion. People gravitate to your confidence and charisma, and they feel safe in your care. But be careful not to believe your own hype—stubborn pride is every Bear's downfall. Best matches: Wolverines, Horses, Wolves Watch out for: Foxes, Crows, Spiders
  13. Until today, my husband has never cracked an egg.
  14. When I first saw this thread I thought Yossi made another account (due to his pension for using the angry face icon when starting threads). Anywho, I'll figure out my spirit animal when I get home. I'm pretty sure it will be something super-cute. :phu:
