i agree with anelka being sent home because you shouldn't argue with the boss without repercussions and he couldn't let him get away with it, he has to keep discipline in his team but i fully understand anelka's frustration for having to play under him because clearly he isn't up to the job. what position did domenech play when he was a player? and is this true to any extent? domenech is a bit of a joke. i don't know what other peoples opinions are of him and i'm sure the french know a lot more than i do but his views on astrology alone lead me to question his ability to manage a football team

yes, me and my sister got him a football film called 'one night in turin' about the england international team, and a book about a german goalkeeper (bert trautmann) who broke his neck playing in an f.a cup final (i think) yet carried on playing in a neck brace because they didn't have substitutes back then he was happy

i'm supporting the aussie's, i have no ill feeling towards them. they have emerton and grella who play for the team i support so i hope they get far. it was still a penalty though. i'm supporting new zealand now too since nelsen plays for them. anyone who gets on the linesmans back for the new zealand goal is harsh. it was the thinnest of contacts and they had to look at it from a few replays to see if he had touched it or not. the linesman didn't have that privelledge so it's no real surprise he missed it
