the fourth track of the album thread was serious cresty (i don't know if it was intended to be, i think it was, but it has become serious regardless) in this thread they weren't being serious it all depends on the individual cases.

i don't mean other people should feel the same way, it's just me. i think it's because i feel a lot older than people on here and i don't want to seem inappropriate. sometimes people take things the wrong way on the internet and whilst i may want to compliment somebody others may think i have ulterior motives. which i wouldn't do.

i don't see it that way at all. i feel it runs almost perfectly as an album i find neon bible could have done with a different ordering

another good point, as a side note. from neon bible i think black wave, ocean of noise and no cars go are the best and can rival some of the funeral work. sometimes if i'm in the mood black mirror, keep the car running, neon bible, my body is a cage and intervention are very good. the second album lacks the beauty of the first and there seems to be more desperation in wins delivery and lyrics (which isn't necessarily a bad thing but i prefer him on funeral)

funeral is definitely the place to start. right from track one. keep the car running is good but only if you are already into them. once your mind is bent into shape all is good don't worry

funeral doesn't have a weak track on it. i prefer the production on it and it runs well track to track. when it came out arcade fire were new to me so it had slight novelty over the second expected album. neon bible has a few dodgy tracks which don't do much. i find it overproduced in comparison to their first album and lacks the raw edge the first had. funeral - 9 neon bible - 7.8

've taken the slim shady lp since i didn't realise it wasn't his first proper album and i've put in arctic monkeys elsewhere which i had forgotten somehow

i believe it to be true. after all it's not a huge revelation. had it been made up it would have been far more revealing so as to stand out more and if it was false it's a lot of effort to put into something which doesn't tell us an awful lot. it's just good to hear that he is happy and there are plans for a tour in the pipeline. is bjaiken pissed that they are fucking around with pedals for too long, thinking too far ahead with tours and taking the time to write emails instead of simply recording to his own strict deadline which radiohead aren't even aware of?
