  1. :( That's sad to read. Maybe for her next birthday you could give her a book on feminism, or a printed copy of this thread: http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=97701 You have my sympathy, you really do
  2. That's a pretty awesome response. Shows you in a good light.
  3. I tend to say cheers. Which is the same thing. Some people don't and I don't understand it as it seems an effort not to, rather than the other way around. Like they are making a point.
  4. Why does it concern you?
  5. That was the intention.
  6. Expand on your views Ian, I'm intrigued. Not very Coldplay'y
  7. I wish I didn't, though I don't have too much shame about it.
  8. If you don't like Beefy then we got troubles ahead.
  9. This thread was a Captain Beefheart reference, by the way. The past sure is tense.
  10. Not that sort of validation.
  11. I couldn't bring myself to.
  12. I don't know what that means :(
  13. Is there anything that could qualify me for special attention? I need validation.
  14. Thought you meant playing pool. Playing pool alone would be interesting, especially if you played against yourself. Richard Herring did that, made a podcast of it. Never listened but I like him so, er, yeah.
  15. Can we lower that to 11,505?
  16. Ah, I see. I thought you meant you couldn't see yourself hanging out with people at the gym or playing pool, as they are the things most people do. Rather than you go to the gym but prefer to do it alone. I prefer to go to the gym alone, too.
  17. Misplaced optimism on my part haha. Down 1-0 against Carlisle.
  18. Ian supports the death penalty.
  19. Would you be interested in doing things that don't have a competitive edge?
  20. How do you become a VIP?
  21. Not that I've seen him get it wrong, mind.
  22. Indeed. I don't go crazy over him but when he gets it right, it's wonderful.
