  1. As much as I don't care about England when it comes to the World Cup, I do hope they qualify simply because it leads to a bit of interest in certain games. I wouldn't want them to win it as you can't beat a chav crying into his beer when we get knocked out, but whenever we haven't qualified for a comp it's always felt a bit empty and passive.

  17. I'm just about to head out for the evening so I can't post much. I was eating much more on the diet than i was off it. it was what i was eating. I also wasn't ever hungry when I was on the diet. It didn't even feel like a diet. Whenever I mention it I feel like people will think i am pushing some kind of fad diet that isn't healthy or doesn't work but it's worked for my family and it's based around eating from all of the food groups and doing a little bit of exercise. You eat food that your body finds it hard to break down so that your stomach is always working, that way it burns off the fat without you starving. You have to properly starve to get results (as if you don't starve enough your body clings to the fat as it knows it is going to need it - like when you see the African children who are starving with big pot bellies) and if you properly starve the damage is extreme. If you want to lose weight then I recommend doing it this way because it's healthy. The book goes into the full science behind it, explains how to portion your meals (how much of each food group) and fully explains everything you need to know. As for your current weight (I deleted it from the quote as you said you will be deleting it), you will be surprised to hear you are on the lower end of ideal weight, technically ever so slightly just under. If you feel you aren't slim enough all that you probably need is toning, and you won't get that from starving.   18. Are you a Northerner? Dinner for you could be different for me... First of all, this thread has really worried me. It has all the hallmarks of an eating disorder (sorry to speak so bluntly and in public on the thread - I'm actually unsure if this post is the best tactic to try and help, but I'll put it up here for anyone else to see who may feel similarly). People understand more than you realise, but it is that they understand why you are doing something, even though they don't understand the actual feelings themselves. Do you read much? I really want to recommend a book to you. It's not a book that's going to revolutionise your life and stop you feeling the way you do, and it's not something that is specifically about dieting, etc, but it generally explains some of the issues you may be feeling and was written by somebody who used to feel exactly the way you do now. It's called Meat market: Female Flesh Under Capitalism and it's written by Laurie Penny ([ame=http://www.amazon.co.uk/Meat-Market-Female-Flesh-Capitalism/dp/1846945216]Meat Market: Female Flesh Under Capitalism: Amazon.co.uk: Laurie Penny: Books[/ame]). It's relatively short and is cheap on the Kindle if you have one (£3.08) or about £5 in paperback. I will buy it for you if you would like? It will hopefully help you understand why you feel the way you do, and then maybe this understanding will help you deal with yourself in a healthy way. Please PM me if you would like me to buy it for you. I have lost 3 stones in the past using a healthy diet. It's called the Lo GI (Glycemic Index) diet. It works by keeping your metabolism going, not cutting out specific food groups and doing regular exercise. I lost a stone a month for three months and I've not put it back on. That was about two years ago now. There's plenty of recipes you can use, including veggy stuff. But honestly starvation is not the answer. It becomes an obsession and your life becomes about not eating. Your well being declines, your quality of life suffers, your skin and hair and general appearance take a massive turn for the worse.   21. What kind of meal is it? What part of the day? 200 calories won't get you much if it's your main meal of the day.
