I was watching Land Before Time a few days ago and I was just amazed what a quality movie it is, really a piece of art....granted it might be better elevated haha.....I still watch Lion King once in a blue moon too...Reilly I guess you dont understand boths significane in popular culture, what woud 9 year old you say ha

I have wondered which would win head to head haha.....they were both epic movies with similar plot points released around the same time(LBT was 1st) ...Land Before Time wins hand down for me when it comes to the art and animation, the backrounds are always such beautiful pastel blends, in every shot! Lion King wins for humor and music but If We Hold on Together is a very very good song as well....opinions?

ha guys jusy usually arent too picky initially; I love all type of girls from scene, girl next door, athletic, preppy(sorry to stereo type but you know what im saying)...if a girl meets ones predetermined standards then they just have to have a decent personality, only thing that will turn me off is being really loud and annoying(saying "like or "omg" constantly) or being awkward(but that is sometimes cute) I dont like when girls are really shy and expect guys to initiate everything, I HATE when a girl is in love with a really bad song and blasts it in the car on repeat belting along with it(happens more then you think haha) does EVERYTHING really turn you on Emp3 cause I could bring up some hypothetical questions lol

yehhh that was really good, im probably done listening to the Scientist for a little bit Ive been playing that song sooo much on guitar haha, I always like taking a break from songs when I dont want them to lose their specialness.... that happened with Stairway to Heaven, I played it on repeat for like a month(well more like 6 when I was first trying to learn it) and now its just not the same :( Ive been watching like the 60 min interviews and whatnot, they are just well spoken musicians

10 for Yellow I remember hearing Yellow in 2000 (9 at the time) and even then that was something I had never heard before, I didnt really get too much into them for about 4 years and my sis got REALLY into them and started playing their music nonstop, I had already heard Clocks a few times but it grew on me fast....easily one of the 10 greatest songs written this decase

There is a clip somewhere of Dave Grohl bashing the hell out of Tacoma and its sooo funny, most people say its the armpit of washington but I think it kind of has a cool vibe. down by the water is just sooo unique and whenever I go down there I no joke always pop in Viva la Vida, it just sets the mood by the harbor, especially at night, I have a secret spot where i can go park on the side of the road and climb down a ledge with this rope and you are right on your own private beach and you can watch the sea lions or whatever they are and otters hella close and also watch the boats leave, I almost always go there when ever im in Tac-town

I like the way Kurt Cobain thought about religion, "Lithium" kind of shows his views, he believes organized religion is there and will always be there for certain people, some people need that type of hope(or some would call it a crutch) to get through their daily lives or when someone is broken and has no where else to go (like in Lithium) I personally have way to many thoughts on God to even go into most of it, sometimes I feel as if all of religion and the feeling of a higher power sooo many claim to be feel once finding god are just chemicals in our brain locked deep into our subconscious; some people release a naturally higher amount which will draw them to god easier, others will not experience this untill they have a near death experience or take mushrooms or something is triggered in their brain ect... but at times God just seems obviously evident, regardless I know if there is a God he would not make you have to go through any specific organized religion to be gaurenteed a seat to heaven, this has been a fear tactic adapted by many Churches, not ever in Jesus's teachings did he say anything about joining a church in order to worship him...just some of my thoughts

I know it is sad geez, its a shame when something like that happens so close, I was in Tacoma on Friday at a red robin and I ended up sitting right next to a cop eating dinner with his family; and at first its something I really didnt like because I just dont like associating with cops haha but you just realize they are trying to enjoy their meal(or coffee) like everyone else;this just hit home today, i really hope it wasnt that guy I couldnt find their pictures and it really makes me rethink gun control which is not something I want to get into on my intro thread haha

it stays in the 40-50s pretty much throughout the day and night,we havent got to snow and ice weather but its coming soon and we get it through feb:\ Seattle summers are some of the best in the world though ohh and thanks clisaj, I love Portland!! might go to Portland state next year, such a great city and music scene (and 2hrs closer to cali where i also lived!!)
