I have a Coldplay piano book and they give some information about each song and this is what they say about Don't Panic: "The opening track and fourth single released from Coldplay's debut album Parachutes. This song was one of six songs played at their first concert in 1998 and was first recorded in July 1999. Originally titled simply 'Panic', it was renamed after a quote from Douglas Adams' 'A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy'." It goes on to say in the Hints&Tips section (although this is more to do with piano playing): "Each hand has it's own distinct line in the song, a style called counterpoint". I have no idea if that helps at all though. Personally I think that perhaps you could expand your project around Don't Panic. Talk about the early days of Coldplay. Give your personal view of the lyrics and what they mean to you. Analyse and talk about the video and what you think it represents. Maybe compare this song with one from their latest album (possibly a well known one like Viva la Vida) and see how they differ and how Coldplay have progressed with their song writing. Anyway, I hope that helps. :)

We used to have a small patio/garden but my dad never used to let me do the gardening. ?But now times have changed and I've now got a lush green garden and I take full responsibility for it. It's hard work and sometimes when a bug jumps on you, I get a bit freaked out but in the summer it'll really pay off - when I have roses, lilies and other flowers in bloom. (And I can sunbathe.) :daisy:

I had a really funny dream last night- I swear all my Coldplay dreams are really weird but anyway... Basically, I had to supervise Chris around the supermarket whilst he was buying sweets and stuff because he was being too hyperactive to be allowed to shop by himself. :laugh3: It wasn't a very complicated dream but it went on forever it seemed.
