You know you're addicted when you go to a Beatles festival and play Coldplay songs on the piano. Yes, I did that. Nice thing is that not only did they not kick me out, people recognized what I was playing and stopped to sing along!

My company sent me on job assignment to Wales for a year and it was a great experience. I wasn't prepared for the cultural difference to be as marked as it was (gee, it's another English speaking country, right?). And I never quite mastered the driving. But everyone was wonderful to me. My advice to anyone contemplating living in another culture is to remember that it's their country, not yours. Don't expect it to be just like home. Assimilate and be respectful. Being American, one of the most valuable lessons I learned was that the USA isn't the center of the universe and not everybody likes us! That was a hard thing to take but now when I have a decision to make, I always think of how it is going to impact our folks overseas -- not just what's in it for the USA. So if you get a chance to study or work in another country, grab the opportunity. It will make a big difference in your life.

Age doesn't matter. I think I'm the oldest fan on this forum (yes, older than 44!) and I've been enjoying concerts since I was 13. Music is what keeps me thinking and feeling young, and the Coldplay concert last year in Toronto was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I will keep on attending concerts until I just plain can't do it any more! Can't wait for Coldplay to tour again; I'll make every single show I can. Good news about being older is that you have the money to spend on concerts (including travel to get there) and no longer have to ask your parents if you can go!:wink3:

I'm getting confused. And it sounds like there needs to be some kind of clone warranty. Science is so complicated.
