I think Chris hung up because the question was a bit inappropriate and doesn't justify the hard work they did on the album.. I don't know why they always make him feel uncomfortable by asking him about Gwyneth or what she thinks.. they should rather ask him what 'he' thinks about the songs. Even I would say, Chris was more than just kind as he called back.

Be it Radiohead or Coldplay, They are really enthusiastic about everything. I saw a live streaming during the release of 'The King of Limbs' in which there were people outside a music store in Tokyo, queuing and waiting for the release and singing old Radiohead songs like 'Creep'(Of course in their own accent :D) but that was really lovely to watch!
