Go for it. I agree with what people said above and i feel the same. You'd make new friends or may be your best friends? I've been a homesick so i know how hard it is to adjust in a new environments when you've been pampered your whole life. It won't be easy but yes it will be a new experience and will help you to develop as a self dependent person but in the end you'd just admire yourself for taking that decision and you'd love this experience tbh.
