  1. This thread is to discuss all kinds of skeptical and atheistic issues and people. Some topics of consideration: God, conspiracy theories, UFO’s and other fantastic claims. We can also discuss famous skeptics and atheists: Dawkins, Hitchens, Carlin, Sagan, etc… If anyone is interested in any of these issues, I suggest you go to the following website and listen to their weekly podcast! http://www.theskepticsguide.org/ Please keep all your conversations civil, and keep in mind that the purpose of this thread is not to convert anyone; it is just a place where we can discuss interesting topics! have fun :D I will post a new topic of discussion every Wednesday, OR, when the previous discussion has died down. Please keep all discussions for that week on the chosen topic, if you want to discuss something else then suggestions can be PMed to me personally or posted in the thread for the next week THIS WEEK'S TOPIC IS 9/11 CONSPIRACY THEORIES

  15. Personally I am a vegetarian because the idea of eating meat to me is disgusting, it's not a matter of morals or ethics, I just find the idea of eating something that was alive once gross. But I don't care if someone eats meat, we are animals just like other animals, and I don't think being human means we have to forget our natural animal instincts.
