Random Coldplay thoughts...
a 1 año de mi primer concierto de Coldplay  A year ago I was nervous and couldn't sleep, I was going to see Coldplay live for the first time, after wishing it for so many years. It was amazing, more than amazing, I will always remember that Friday 26th, always. It meant so much to me, I cannot even explain it. When I got home that day after the concert (at 2am) I could not sleep, I just had too many feelings inside. Finally hearing those songs live, being played by these four guys I admire so much, seeing them there, in front of me, I just couldn't believe it. It was an experience I won't ever forget! :wacky: I have lots of special moments, but this is one of my favourite parts of that night (the video is not mine) [ame= ] [/ame]

Do you think in complete sentences?
I can think of images too, but generally I think in words, like "I'm going to do this" or "I left that there", stuff like that. I can also imagine things (in images and words), like stories in my head

When do you think LP5 will come out?
Didn't Chris tell someone after the Crisis concerts that Wedding Bells would not be included on LP5? I think it was Jaimie who asked him, but I'm not sure

When do you think LP5 will come out?
I was obsessed with Wedding Bells too, I was craving for something new, and I think it's a sweet and heartfelt song, I like it, but it's not a song I play regularly. Maybe those songs they set apart end up on an EP later, or as B-sides.

When do you think LP5 will come out?
According to the article, they suppossedly went back to work on the first idea they had had, if I'm not mistaken. So I don't think they just throw out all the other ideas, they may just go and explore some other new ideas.

When do you think LP5 will come out?
Not to be pessimist but how do we know "Famous Old Painters" was a masterpiece? We've never even heard a tiny bit from it? Wedding Bells was good, but not great. I like it and I would like to have it as a b-side but I'm not sure I'd like to have it on LP5. However, I do share your enthusiasm. It's a bit of a downer to hear they've started over again but I'm sure they won't release something they're not comfortable with and I trust them to make the right decisions :nice: ps: the RAAAAAWR! was funny :laugh3:

Do you think in complete sentences?
I think in complete sentences as well :anxious: I remember mainly in images or sounds.

See Me Rot
I like the sentence at the beginning  "Being dead and buried doesn't mean you can't have friends over!" It would be disgusting if it was true.

Parachutes - Coldplay's Least Impressive Album?
I agree with that last part! :nice: As regards the first part, we all have different favourite albums, you don't have to like the four of them in the same amount to be a fan

Tim Wheeler and The Pierces talk about Coldplay's LP5 recording sessions
yeah, me neither...I had this feeling they were going to scratch what they were doing and start again, but well, if it's for the best it should be fine. I wonder if they regret having commited to perform at all those festivals :uhoh:

Parachutes - Coldplay's Least Impressive Album?
I don't think it's not impressive. It's simple but it has so much emotion put into it that you can almost feel it when listening to it. I still generally prefer AROBTTH over Parachutes but I think it's a lovely album. Moreover, I think it has more merit being their debut album. I agree with what Brooke said about each album having its own sound, it feels like that to me and even though they're different and you can easily distinguish in which era a song was written, even b-sides, after a few seconds of listening to it, they all have this "Coldplay" sound. That's something that I like. What I see about VLVODAAHF is that what the general audience perceives is not the whole album. I mean if you have to judge the album only by the singles, I'd say it's rather a sort of pop album, well not Violet Hill but consider VLV, LIJ and LITii. They are "radio friendly" songs which may appeal to younger audiences that mainly listen to mainstream pop music. However, there are other songs on that album that I can't, and will refuse :P, to call mainstream like Cemetries of London, 42 and DAAHF, which also happen to be my favourites. Almost all we know about LP5 has come mainly from our speculation, so I wouldn't know what direction they are really taking. Maybe they have even changed directions a couple of times already. I just hope they feel confortable with it and proud of it. they are already big and I know they have the potential to be better, I hope they can achieve better things with this album. what a long post
