  1. I was in a Barnes and Noble in Atlanta and I heard a TERRIBLE elevator music version of Viva La Vida. I guess the place was less random than the version.
  2. I've always loved his lyrics. I think they are generally extraordinary. I'm a little amazed that he gets grief from critics let alone Coldplayers. I was first attracted to the lyrics. (I'm late to the game) I loved Viva La Vida complex, evocative lyrcs. They not only made me want to hear more music but to know who wrote them. I was blissfully unaware that he took heat because of the lyrics for a long time. Astonishing.
  3. I'm not saying that homosexuality is a choice, but if being a Lesbian talk show host means I can climb all over Chirs while he sings--or does anything else--I'm willing to consider it. Don't tell my husband.
  4. Just a quick note about the drug use: I read an old interview with Chris a while back and he said something like, "I tried drugs, but I can't f@#$ or play music, so what's the point?" I believe this was pre-Gwyneth. Just saying this isn't the first time Chris talked about drug use.
  5. Hey Row! Can you see you artistry now? As far as the treasure trail goes, it's nice of him to provide a map and it's a beauty, but, I'm pretty sure I could find my way there in the dark. Just by hit and miss.
  6. blue eyes. His eyes were described as turquiose in a recent interview. I concur.
  7. dang it. Aren't I sad? I'll try again. Row really did make me a lovely siggy out of the goodness of her heart. You may have to take my word for it. (I keep telling people I'm too old to be a fan. I no longer understand the requirements.)
  8. Row wants me to say something FINE! If I had Chris, captured, elephant suit or not, I would not free him. I'm sorry. Thanks for the lovely siggy Row. You're swell.

Ok, this is probably wrong. When I first heard the lyrics I thought they were about the papparazzi continually watching Chris and Gwyn. And how, when he's on tour, he's paying attention to the road, but he's also watching and involved with what is going on at home. I also thought it might be some commentary about the affair rumors that were kicking up about Gwyn and Matthew Morrison. "It's us against the world." "Be careful who it is you're talking to." The crocodiles also refer to a warning.
  10. I was wondering if he'd ever get to use his unicycle riding talent. Looks like he's finally made the big time!
  11. I'm looking forward to all of the inevitable press nearly as much as the album. A thought about his openess about Gwyneth: Maybe he's realizing that his refusal to talk about her incites far more fascination than if he answers the question and moves on.
  12. Thanks for posting, Row. A-hem, notice anything different about me?
  13. thanks. This is great! Thanks for your time and effort.
  14. I ignored him for 50 years. That should count for something.
  15. I win the old contest. I will be 53 next month! I've been married for 33 years and my husband has lived with this behavior all along, bless his heart. We went to London for our honeymoon to see if I could meet Paul McCartney. He doesn't get Coldplay though. I've never been this obsessed with any band except the Beatles. And my son's band. Different kind of Obsession...
  16. Guy love Hi, I'm a visitor from another planet (Martin) so I don't know if this has been posted, (PLUS I'm computer challenged) but a few tweeks to this song and you girls have an anthem. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WA26qeLJ2Ug]The Blanks - Guy Love (Official Video) - YouTube[/ame] blessings all around...
  17. So, I'm really sick and I'm on the phone and I'm looking at photos of Chris. I say, "Holy @#$%! A picture of Chris just blinked at me! I better go lie down." Way to terrorize an ill person, Twisted Mind.
  18. Really like this one, Comicforce.
  19. That was me. I bought my Tiger Balm at Walgreens. It comes in very small containers.
  20. When I asked the Oracle to tell me what Chris smells like--Yes, that was me--he said he smells like Tiger Balm.
  21. vote for Chris Here's a link to vote for Chris as sexiest man of the year. I'm surprised they don't just hand it over. http://www.sofeminine.co.uk/competitions-freebies/100-hottest-men/?photo=13120
  22. I'm not jealous so I did look. Dates on the photos are December 2003. If you look closely, you'll see C & G are coming out of a doctor's office and both look deliriously happy. Makes me wonder if they'd just confirmed that Apple was on the way. Kinda warms my heart. He seems to have a bottle of prenatal vitamins in his hand.
  23. If you find he has a soft spot for old ladies, be a pal and let me know.
  24. Ages I win the dorky old lady contest at 52! Hurrah! Now back to your regularly scheduled pictures.
  25. I'm glad to see others of my generation. I can't explain my crush on Chris. I feel kind of immature, but I'm still enjoying the photos and imagining.
