1. How's the queue? And the weather? Pretty muggy I imagine.
2. I'll be heading down nearer opening time because I'll be with my sister and she doesn't want to "wait around in the rain" (don't ask... :whip: )
3. Really? You're going to brave the rain? :bigcry:
4. So does that mean I could get right up to the stage barrier, if I wanted to? (here's a pic of my ticket): Mobile Link: https://www.instagram.com/p/BGeCoInFlVd/?taken-by=radioscouse
5. Thats not quite true, but I do completely acknowledge the fact that he gives performing his all.
6. Just to respond to some of the more recent comments: Of course it's understandable that Chris wants to protect / conserve his voice whilst being able to deliver the best show possible. He does an amazing job and I will always appreciate what he has given us over the years, both on record and in concert. However, the argument that it shouldn't be a big deal because it's not the same for every song performed is a bit flawed. At the moment, there's only one section of the concert that is performed without playback and that's the C-stage. I personally think that's a little disappointing, not least because we know the band can and do sound great performing without (or with minimal) playback, but mainly because the first half of MX tour set the bar so high for striking the balance between fanfare and unaided live performance (stylistically speaking). Also, to those that say it doesn't matter or that it's just a minority of fans, I think as concertgoers who pay hundreds of pounds / dollars / euros to see the band live, we're more than entitled to voice our concerns about the current live show.
7. No, Gideon is correct. It's Chris alright.
8. Am I the only one who thinks they should do a coda at the end of Up&Up? Purely to showcase Jonny's skater-boy fret-board wizardry.
9. It's a wonder Chris still has any voice left, given the circumstances.
10. Acoustic masterclass from CM, here.
11. Mr Will Champion taking co-lead vocals there!
12. Why the hell would he/they not want to play this consistently? After all, doesn't it compliment the spirit of AHFOD perfectly?
13. "It might be the last time" pfft, watch it Chris Martin. We've been waiting 4 years for this.
14. I really hope not. It's bad enough hearing him.
15. And here comes Barack "I have a drone" Obama to completely kill the mood.
16. Love how they incorporated Ali's speech into the end of Everglow there. Also really hope they play AoO on the A-stage at some point.
17. I'm liking the set alot more these days, but they definitely do need more light / shade. And I agree, the montage backdrop is so moving and just how I hoped it would be.
18. We can actually hear Chris strumming his telecaster as well, bloody hell.
19. Love how your emojis are bopping in time :escaping2:
