  1. Oh, i see. Do you have Zara in Holland? haha, not that it matters, i was just curious.. :laugh3: That sounds interesting, do you happen to go to alot of Coldplay related things? :D
  2. What a sick f****** thread this is :toff:
  3. Its funny to see how little people understand how the band actually work and operate. :P
  4.
  5. Oh, i see :wink3: well i think your t shirt is really nice, did you make it yourself?
  6. I think what you mean is that my tastes may have moved beyond the way that they have been making music more recently. I don't disagree with you but it still stand by what i said. If they want to break new ground and get anywhere artistically in the future, thats what they need to do.
  7. Obviously when you look at Chris's wife its hard to retain a sense of loyalty and connection with what the band represent, to be quite frank. And thats another thing, they really don't feel like a real band anymore. That is something that they desperately need to address more than anything and not begin to rest on their laurels. When they started off, they were less polished as an act but they you could at least call them a band; without being virtuoso, they were just four people playing music together and then they started using backing tracks in the music to the point where its at today. I think its about time they bring it round now. They've experimented alot over the last 10 years and made alot of unique and fantastic music, now they need to start being that band we all grew to love 'all those years ago.' This has needed to be said for a while now.
  8. Thats interesting, i actually thought about that too. I was also thinking how similar Gravity to sounds to MX in some ways, when you listen to it now its like a mixture of the old and new. I don't think they'll ever do anything like that again but it would be interesting to try and blend things together.
  9. I didnt say that he ruined it it just stood out for me. If that annoyed you you must get easily annoyed. How about we both calm down? Sound okay to you?
  10. WTF? or as Kanye would say 'DA FUQ?' What are you chatting on about? Now you're putting words in my mouth. When did i mention ETIAW? As a matter of fact I love ETIAW and it pisses me off when you get moany people like you who go on about how they cant stand the 'wa wa wa waaataafall' bit when thats not even how its sung! And why are you so angry? who's bloody riled you? calm the fuck down. (and) a big fucking EDIT: How can you have an opinion on me when you dont know me? You read a few comments and decided to have a rant about them because out of immaturity you couldn't stand someone who has an opinion contrary to yours?
  11. To be honest i drew attention to it because it really stood out for me, but i dont really care too much. I hope he'll try and be a bit more genuine in future, if thats possible.
  12. Yeah but that is ADAM SANDLER after all isnt it? Does anyone actually have high expectations when they hear that name? He won an award for being the worst actor last year as well didnt he? :laugh3:
  13. And thank you, i think its good to be a bit critical sometimes. Im usually really defensive of anything about Coldplay. The irony :dozey:
  14. No it doesn't. Could you actually make out the chords he was playing on the guitar? Its a really beautiful song on the piano. Its like playing stairway on a triangle.
  15. It was pretentious. He's meant to be down to earth too. It was a bloody charity gig; he could have worn what 'normal' people wear. You know like the people who had their whole livelihoods taken away? Yeah it sounds a bit picky and of course its not just him. But Im saying it because he's meant to be against showing his wealth; thats obviously not the case anymore. He clearly put more thought into what he was going to wear than what he was going to play. Go back and watch the performance. Listen to just the audio and you'll see.
  16. He's actually played Viva on piano several times for radio and charity gigs so it makes no sense at all
  17. Yeah, i agree i think he was in fine form i just dont know why he did Viva on the guitar.
  18. He was too nervous, if you want to be honest, Viva La Vida didnt work on the guitar and UATW just sounded too disjointed on the piano. I dont really know what he was thinking. The suit seemed a bit inappropriate and he came across a bit goofy whenever he spoke. It was a decent effort though, and a good collaboration with michael Stipe.
