  1. Yeah everyone has to do 150 hours of CAS. I think since nobody ever knows what the hell to do or how to do it everyone just bullshits them 3 days before they're due. I'm looking into doing my EE in math but I don't know what exactly to like, do it on. at all. ... >.> With a name like International Baccalaureate you know there's gonna be a bunch of abbreviations. :P
  2. me, we don't do anything for TOK, I don't know what the fuck to do for CAS and god knows I'm not starting my EE before this summer IB is a total bitch, seriously the hardest thing I've ever done. so hardcore. Although all of it is easy except for my English teacher, because I love my English teacher and all but he's batshit insane with the amount of work he gives us
  3. I don't know how I feel about this. Idealogically I think information should be free. Practically I don't think it's so good for this stuff to be seen by everyone. By the examples given though, which presumably are the most amazing and outrageous, these leaks don't show MUCH that's genuinely horrible or endangering to like everrbody, or anything... some dirty stuff sure but what do you expect from national intelligence agencies trying to protect their countries, etc etc. Nothing massive like nuclear weapons codes or some such. All the same this is dangerous and probably shouldn't be released to the public, I suppose. Incidentally, the quote by the Yemen president about bombing al-Qaeda bases is fascinating. Some of the things they cited are really interesting in terms of foreign policy. But yeah, not something that the public should necessarily be allowed to get a hold of.
  4. Yes. listen to Reilly. It sounds like you're at the pre-love stage, you won't know until both of you grow out of the infatuation if you're actually in love or not. Most of my friends are in the infatuation stage and never move very far past that... I think a lot of teenagers have trouble moving past that. But if you really love the person then after you stop wanting to be with them every waking second of the day you still do want to be with them, do things with them, etc. You settle in, kind of. It's a lot more relaxed and I guess more "boring" but it's way more stable and when long-term relationships form they tend to be like that I think. I'm not saying that your relationship is bad or you should break it off or anything!! Wait til the stage you're in now is over, and it will probably be pretty obvious to you whether or not it should continue, or what will the nature of it be if it continues, or whatever. edit: what
  5. IB! I'M IN IB. DOESN'T IT SUCK?!?!? :cheesy: And obviously, Team Malfoy. Durrrp. Gender: female, age: 16 Way to fuck with data you bitch.
  6. What part of your back is it? When I swam we did some awesome dry-land conditioning things to strengthen the rotational cuff, which is usually very prone to injury; you get some elastic things and tie them to a pole or whatever, then you just hold your elbows near your body and your arms at a 45 degree angle up, and rotate them back a bunch of times. That's a good exercise you can do pretty easily, and if you ever have time you should swim as well, because swimming really toughens up your back/shoulder muscles really really well and that helps stabilize all your joints and bones. Talk to your physical therapist about it, I'm sure he/she can help more than I can. I hope you feel better soon D:
  7. Hahahha that's hilarious rofl rofl rofl
  8. Oh screw it, I'll sign up actually. Changed my mind. I'll do most of it during winter break.
  9. No I agree, you can definitely dislike the album just on the grounds that you don't like the music! But a lot of people in this thread/also some people I know irl are saying they hate it without having listened to it on the grounds that Kanye's a total douchebag, which he totally is, but yeah.
  10. Oh, k cool. I can totally get how it would be old after the first time.
  11. I hope Marky comes in here and starts bashing Kanye so that we can collect moar Irony Points
  12. He's been getting 10/10s in every major music critic magazine/website around currently, he'll be getting enough awards to last him into retirement
  13. ^GOOD job Cresty. It's fucking awesome. <3
  14. ^CLEVER POINTS DESERVED AND THUSLY AWARDED
  15. I think Kanye's a total **** but if you listen to the album he kind of acknowledges it in a weird way... idk how to describe it, you should just listen to it. I'm downloading Graduation now too, I'll probably be massively disappointed after MBDTF though :P
  16. That's some good advice, Debra. :surprised:
  17. Hm. I assume you're nice, in which case honestly if girls had any sense they would be all over you. Go out with friends and meet people, find a girl you like, hang out with her, tell her. I dunno how to help much besides that. I guess just you can't "wait for the perfect girl," you have to go out there and look and whilst looking wait until you see one you like, I guess, but after that you have to take some initiative, generally. Good luck.
  18. I'm listening to it again and I like it even better this time, I think I do actually like it moar than Plastic Beach :shy:
  19. Are you kidding? The dancing was the best part, hands down. I was entranced during that whole part. I like dancing though, cuz I'm cultured :charming:
  20. I feel really bad for hating Kanye before, gonna have to listen to some of his old stuff and see if it's as shit as I remember...
  21. Holy SHIT, I just watched Runaway, like the long version, and it was like... AMAZING
