You're wrong. Panic! At the Disco is good. And yes. Check out Hey Rosetta!. They're nothing like Panic!. Also Los Campesinos! but you probably won't like them.

Radiohead, Hey Rosetta!, Coldplay I guess, Metric if they're doing one, Panda Bear, not The Strokes, definitely not Beady Eye. Other stuff too I can't think of immediately. edit: Toro Y Moi early in the year? Yes please. Looking forward to that as well.

I don't think it is either, thaty's why I said "apparently", haha. Their first album according to Wikipedia was straight-up black metal but that song especially just sounds like indie rock. I think you can hear some of the metal influences a little better in some of the other songs, but... Vocalist really reminds me of Jonas Bjerre too haha.

god it was SOO GOOOD with the movie. not so fun to listen to as an album but it's a GREAT soundtrack. Also, the tracks where they actually mix electronic and classical-flavored instrumentation (instead of mostly electronic or mostly classical, which is what most of the tracks are) -- SO GOOD. oh GOD so good.
