Seriously. Radiohead's in such an omg midlife crisis mode right now. I think it's why they're trying to be all hip as shit with TKOL and stuff like that. Don't get me wrong, it's still creative and interesting and all (except I'm so over TKOL right now it's not even funny lololol) so it could be a lot worse, but it's just kinda funny.

I dunno, I guess so. Honestly when I get new music these days I don't go hunting for stuff that's been released recently, just stuff I haven't heard. Like the last few albums I downloaded were Weather Systems by Andrew Bird (which I hadn't heard until a few days ago despite loving Andrew Bird so much omg) and Far by Regina Spektor, which I also had never gotten around to getting all of but did thanks to the urging of a friend. Weather System's from 2003 and Far's from 2009, haha. And as for 2010, god knows there's still stuff from then I haven't checked out that I know I should :sad: I didn't listen to Crystal Castles eg for the entire damn year.

Is that (in your all's experiences) for the most part bullshit? Can it even realistically be done on a long-term basis? Cuz two of my friends have been dating for a year and a half and realized about two weeks ago that they have to cut the relationship off cuz it isn't working for them, but both of them still want to be around each other and stay friends. However most of the people I've seen go through trying to stay friends just go through like an awkward phase and then gradually separate and never talk to each other again because they feel it would be too awkward? But I haven't seen enough people try it to be sure...

Yeah I agree with that sentiment haha, but it just gets on my nerves when people get this special-snowflake mentality about the rest of the country -- like most of the people I know who are conservatives aren't fucking hick-idiots like so many liberals portray all conservatives as... I know you weren't targeting conservatives in particular cuz of how you mentioned Pelosi and etc, but I still find it annoying when people assume others are idiots just because they vote for a percieved-as-stupid candidate. Sad fact is most of the time the 2 major candidates are BOTH idiots and nobody can do anything about it because they're the ones who work the hardest for the nomination. I don't think you're really targeting a specific political party or viewpoint as being composed of just idiots (which a LOT of my friends do ALL the time, which is why it's such a sore subject for me) but in general people going on about how dumb the "rest of America" is just tend to grind my gears yanno.
