Look like the london intimate concert took place at Abbey Road Institute in a very intimate ambiance. At least one track played was a very old reworked track, so I think the theory about the final album being "COLDPLAY" holds water.

Yeah i remember. I actually started a petition back in the day to get a live version released, and it got a lot of traction. But the band reached out and said they wouldn't be doing it because they didn't have a high-quality capture of the performance. A short demo of Viva la Vida was published on youtube in 2010 (like 2 minutes) from the caption company. t's a shame because, having been to every tour since 2008, I can say it was their best tour, better than the recent ones.

Moon music is less bad compared to MOTS but, I think they could have made just a double album with MOTS/MM like EL. And then it was released in the middle of a tour, so the promotion was necessarily much lighter.

Let's be honest: we feel that this tour was mainly a cash cow to replenish the coffers significantly, both for Coldplay and all its partners like Live Nation. It was very massive and optimized with a kind of micro-residence.

Hello there, I'm very suprised by the two intimate studio sessions, this is somewhat the opposite of everything we've seen with MOTS, which was ultra-commercial and "ultra-maximized," versus events with no media coverage or social media posts. It seems the "commercial then intimate" cycle is starting up again. Things seem simpler, and the fact that they're working together again in London is cool. I wonder if MOTS tour will return with the same massive turnout we saw before; personally, I don't think so.

I think a lot of the "old players" would come out of hibernation if the band ever did tours that were more focused on music than show. Believe me, they've lost quite a few people along the way — though certainly not as many as they've gained in fans over the past 10 years. That said, I don’t think the band is capable of going back to smaller venues anymore — they’ve become so popular... And, i mean, do they really want it ? Personally, this search for nostalgia worries me a bit. From the very start of the MOTS tour, I noticed how massive and almost never-ending it this tour. Everything seems designed to maximize the tour, and I feared right away that the band might be "filling up before going into hibernation for a long time"... This "Wembley" seems to confirm that fear. Aeterna and We Pray are good, but not really suited for this album, unlike MITM or A Wave. With these two tracks and also Shine On, the album would have a creative texture similar to the VIVA album.

Wow cool surprise but... why ? A Man in the Moon, Karate Kid and a Wave have their place on the main album, it would have given it even more texture. I don't understand their strategy.
