I'm going to the Glasgow gig on the 3rd of December, considering everyone would have started their advent calendars by that point, y'think theres a chance they might play Christmas Lights? That would be amazing :stunned:

As long as they play DLIBYH I don't mind. Although I reeeaaally want them to play either Lovers in Japan or Strawberry Swing. Those songs were just magical on the Viva tour...

I think there will be 4 singles, and they will be Princess of China and Charlie Brown. If they were to have a fifth then I would hope it would be Don't Let It Break Your Heart.

I'm not going through any hard times just now so MX hasn't made me tear up yet, I guess something really shit has to be going on for me to cry. But other Coldplay songs that have gotten me to cry when I was going through a shit time are Fix You, Warning Sign, Strawberry Swing and Proof, can't forget Proof :lol: Not Coldplay, but Chances by Athlete always gets me close to tears haha

I LOVE this! This is like the perfect setlist! Although I really think they will end with Up With the Birds. And I reeeeeaaaaaally hope they bring back Lovers in Japan, its one of their best live songs.

Yeah haha the whole thing is great, although I dont really like Major Minus.

Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends/Mylo Xyloto (Can't decide if I like MX better yet, will take a few months of listening to decide) Parachutes X&Y/A Rush of Blood to the Head (These two have always been equal for me :) )

Right so now I myself and a lot of other people have listened to the album. I'm standing by my original opinion, I really think this song just sticks out like a sore thumb on this album, It really doesn't fit in sound wise, yeah it fits in story wise, but would it really make a difference if it weren't there? I always end up skipping it when it comes on so I can hear beautiful UFO :P What are other peoples thoughts? REMEMBER: OPINIONS!

Princess of China 9. Paradise 10. Up with the Birds 11. Major Minus I think 6-10 I like all equally, and I really don't like Major Minus :P

Also the guitar riff at the end of HLH, right after the 3rd time he says "and it hurts like heaven" and the weird sounds right at the beginning of Charlie Brown.

Straight 10, and I never rate things 10/10 :D Its definitely the best song on the album, and its one of my favourite all time Coldplay songs. It reminds me of Glass of Water, and now that people mention it, its sorta like Things I Don't Understand aswell.

There are so many little bits I love on this album! All the lyrics of Hurts like Heaven When Charlie Brown kicks in. And the sound of the guitar strumming at "all the boys all the girls" How MMIX perfectly goes into Every Teardrop is a Waterfall , and the final part of ETIAW "every tear, every tear..." The beginning of UFO how beautiful the guitar sound is. The last part of Princess of China "you really hurt me" Chris and Rhianna singing together sounds amazing. "can we pour some water on" Up in Flames. How A Hopeful Transmission goes into Don't Let it Break Your Heart the whole of DLIBYH is amazing, the guitar riff, the beginning when it kicks in, the lyric "from my shipwreck I heard a call" (Its my favourite song on the album :rolleyes:) and ofcourse when the guitar starts half way through Up with the Birds.

I noticed a lot of mistakes(for example: the first line starts very abruptly on charlie brown, few voice problems on UATW and more aswell!) but I just ignored it cause I didnt want them to be true, but this has made me feel so much better! Seeking out the radio 1 plays right now, lets hope they sound better!

Easily my favourate, then CB and HLH are right behind it.

Right so I've just finished listening to it and I can honestly say this is their best album to date. This will be the only thing playing through my speakers for a very long time :P
