Thank you for sharing this with us! :nice: I have, too, my personal interpretation of those songs... Because what's wonderful of this album is -as you above^ have already said- all this honesty, and the fact that every song is so relatable and can help you solve your own problems. Though this is a quality of all Coldplay songs, I believe :heart:

Thanks for pointing that out, because that's what I felt of new about him but I kust couldn't explain it... He is getting more confident and he is *growing up*, as he said he needed to :heart: I'm so happy about this, and I'm so proud of him, the band... I love this interview too much, yesterday I cried not only as I listened, but also several times later for how emotional, honest and inspirational it was. Coldplay :heart::wacky:

Definitely :nod: :( I think he really wants to explain all the thoughts fluttering in his head, but the matter is so complicated that he can't put them all together in plain speech... It's wibbly wobbly, timey wimey stuff :P And if you consider that these are private problems and that Chris is still quite a reserved person, he also probably doesn't want to make it too detailed. :shrug:

The chords should be, more or less Db - Db9- Ab6 - Fm (Chris has slightly changed them, but very slightly). If I had time I'd try to work out the rest for you, but I must go to bed :disappointed:

^ Don't worry, I've studied a bit but at first I used to play by ear as well and I would've said the same - I don't even have a piano, just a keyboard :P Anyway, Chris does that alternation (some sort of arpeggio, I guess) with his right hand but it is based on Viva's four chords which he plays with his left hand. So he keeps the basic structure of the song changing the melody, making it seem very different and similar at once, just to trick our ears :dozey:

Seriously Tash, you can't write such things, you've made me cry of happiness, and a lot too... Now I need to watch my face! :') This band is just... This is one of those moments when, as you also said, I feel so grateful to be alive in this era and be able to witness their pure, magnificent talent... Though I wish I were as lucky as you to have been listening to them from the beginning, I was too young :P What else could I say... I'm speechless and absolutely glad for you!!! And I can't wait to have both the album and the DVD... It'll be the highlight of the year. I guess I'll forgive them for being in LA when I went to London for the first time in my life in the beginning of the month. :P "Such a precious jewel", that's what they are. No words can explain how proud I am of them.
