The conclusion of the story made me immediately think of a song, which almost seems to have been written for it..." *pause - everyone staring at you in complete silence :blank:* "... And, yes, well... it's by Coldplay, and I... Everyone's reaction (teacher included) : :facepalm: *a general buzz begins* Teacher, in an unconvincing tone: "Um, well, you can post it on Facebook so we can listen to it, because now there's really no time to do it..." Me: :blank: "Oh, ok... Never minds!" :rolleeyes: (I didn't expect any different reactions) ... Because everybody knows I love Coldplay :P

When last year I went to my first Coldplay concert, I skipped the last 3 school days of the year and also a few hours of the day before the concert, so getting out I had to go to one of the vice-headmasters to sign the permission to go out... And she was the one who did it, so I also told her goodbye with the happiest face because the next time I would see her would've been the following year... She asked me why, I told her and she said as loud as she could and with an exaggerated English/American accent: "Coouldplaaay! :D" Me: *thinking: :facepalm:* Yeah :awesome: Her (to my mum): "Oh yes they're very good, she deserves to go there :nice:" Me: :wacky: But for some reason she'd never do it in the classroom, she usually ignores me and talks over everyone... And then she dares complaining I should intervene a bit more during lessons... So I don't really expect anything from her, anything at all. I so miss my previous teacher :nod: :heart:

She first mentioned Meryl Streep, then she said: "Another good one is Gwyneth Paltrow... -she made a pause- ... Even before she married... Mmm... What's his name?" Me, struggling not to make any face (in my mind: :wacky::awesome::heart: + WTF you don't remember his name?! :angry:... My real face: :blank:): "Chris Martin" Her: "Yes, right..." A classmate: "Who?" Teacher: "Chris Martin, Coldplay's leader..." Classmate: "Ah, so that's why she knew it :rolleyes: (referred to me :lol:)" Me: :awesome: Teacher: :blank: *flips the pages of the book in complete silence because she didn't feel like there was need to comment what my classmate had said... Yeah, she's one of those who never gives you any satisfaction at all... And yeah, she already knew how much I love them :heart:*

Two days ago I finished The House Of The Spirits by Isabel Allende and today I've started The Picture Of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde.
