'Intro to Felt Surrogacy', 'Heroic Origins', 'Advanced Introduction to Finality', 'Intro to Knots', and 'Cooperative Escapism in Familial Relations' are some of my all time favorites. It had its mediocre moments, like, 'Conventions of Space and Time' and 'Paranormal Parentage', but so has every other season. Season 4 was just a little bit different stylistically but it was still Community. ... that said Dan Harmon is a genius.

I wouldn't say pretentiousness, i just think it's a very punk rock attitude towards things. Like "Who cares what you guys want we're gonna do what we like and what we think is fun".

It's there because arcade fire is giving the finger to what people thing music "should be" and how a produced album should sound. That's what the SNL thing was about and that's what the whole "normal person" intro and outro are about, the hidden track, supersymmetrey, all of it. ... And that is what makes Reflektor amazing.

Only song i'm not crazy about is You Already Know. It's not bad but it's just kinda there. Porno could have done without the drum machine but a beautiful song nontheless.

the 5 minutes of ambiance at the end seems kind of pointless to me, but other than that it's a pretty solid album.

last year for school our final was to debate a topic given to us. i got people should need a license to become a parent (pro). I made this video and i think it's pretty relevant to his story, especially the part about the little girl. Opens your eyes up to all the situations out there that no one knows about and may never know about. Not sure i neccessarily agree with this argument (i wasn't given the choice of side to defend) because i feel like it may be impractical to judge a parent but in cases like these it makes you wonder how this is legal. Well I wasn't joking. I've always thought she has quite a terrible voice and that she's only famous because of her father. The fact that she's gonna take the SNL stage tonight and be equally as respected and applauded as Arcade Fire was last week is appalling. Say what you want but I view her as what's wrong with the musical "system" today.

I was with her until she started talking about Miley having talent and making good records.

I think "Supersymmetry" needs to be a collaboration with Muse

Okay I've listened to this album about five times, once with the optimizer experience. Here's how I'd rate the tracks: Introspection Plenty of Girls in the Sea Mystery Disease Alien Days I Love You Too, Death Cool Song No. 2 Your Life is a Lie A Good Sadness Orphan of Fortune Astro-Mancy but they're all really amazing songs.
