  1. I can agree with you on this. This is the first time I've been able to enjoy the buildup around a Coldplay album drop, and I wish I'd gotten the full experience of tearing open the packaging and listening to an entire album's worth of new songs. I think the way they're promoting it now alienates the hard-core fans (like all of us lovely Coldplayers) but benefits the casual fans because they can get a taste of what the new album will be like without spoiling it by listening to unreleased live tracks day in and day out (which, as I know, many of us here have been doing). In other words, they're running the risk of disappointing their Coldplayers while trying to draw in more fans.
  2. Oh no, time for a Megalomania appearance! :P Absolution was way better
  3. ^ If there is ever a Coldplay: Greatest Hits album the guys won't be behind it--it'll probably be released by EMI like what they did with the Radiohead Greatest Hits thing. Plus, if they ever released one it would have so many songs on it . . .
  4. I might have to hug them if they did!
  5. Ah, okay :D No problem, see ya!
  6. Lucky person :P about 80% of the roads around here are dirt. Black-top roads are so much better  Aha! No one will be able to complain about our driving :smug:
  7. I'm too paranoid to even pull out onto a dirt road before looking both ways like 2340598263 times :P I'll probably be the slowest/most boring college driver ever.
  8. When I was four my dad tricked me into coming to Wal-Mart with him because he called it Wally-World and I thought it was a theme part :blank: I haven't like Wal-Mart since. That's college kids for ya
  9. That's why it's (sometimes) good to live out in the country. GOSH JULIA YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO LOOK BOTH WAYS FIRST. :phu: :P jk
  10. Ooh, not good! :uhoh: The town closest to where I live has a university, so I know exactly how you feel. Going to Wal-mart is always an interesting experience
  11. Plus I think he's learned to keep his mouth shut :P I mean, how many songs are there out there called 'Gravity'?
  12. See, that's about the size of my school, so . . . I don't know, I've never really thought about it :P Maybe it has something to do with kids coming in from other school districts or something? We have kids that live 30 miles away that could go to another (closer) school but come here instead.
  13. Nope. It's just something we have to do every year. Do you guys not have to do that? :whaaat:
  14. ^ And I've always thought it sounded like Dancing In The Dark by Bruce Springsteen :P
  15. ^ Well, I don't know about an entire album, but a song here and there would be awesome
  16. Well said. I don't go by music reviews when I want to buy something. I go listen to it and make the decision based on whether or not I like it--not a random reviewer that may or may not like the band in question anyway.
  17. I know, huge improvement, right?! :awesome: You don't? You must not go back for a while, then  Have you enrolled yet?
  18. I did :blank: I'd rather have like . . . . Art first hour or something.
  19. At least I don't have math first hour this year  That was baaaad.
  20. I have to be because school starts tomorrow :uhoh:
  21. ^ I've always thought it meant being 'reborn' in a sense. Sort of like how a baby phoenix supposedly is reborn from the ashes of an old one.
