These songs are being requested! But the band seems to just choose the easy ones to play... No way they would ever play Glass Of Water acoustic unfortunately...

Although Trouble sounds really good, safe and predictable choice once again... Verstuurd vanaf mijn ONE E1003 met Tapatalk

Coldplay World Tour 2016 - 2017 Discussion
Talking about setlists, who else thinks Every Teardrop needs a break? I mean, it's a fun song, very jumpy and stuff, but they played it the entire MX Tour non stop, the GS Tour as well and they're still playing it. And personally, I think the song is best as a closer, like HLH is an opener. It just doesn't feel right as the 3rd song on the setlist. And, there are already so many ''jump'' songs in the setlist.

I agree with you on the comfort zone choices, but then again, maybe we just want too much? They have played songs like The Hardest Part (full band), A Message and A Rush Of Blood To The Head as requests. And songs like See You Soon and Don't Panic seem to appear on a more regular basis. Although I would love for songs like Life In Technicolor ii, I Ran Away, One I Love, Strawberry Swing etc. But too much out of their comfort zone perhaps...

Random Coldplay thoughts...
Sometimes I think: Wouldn't it be freaking awesome if they suddenly decide to play a song like White Shadows again (and not on the C-Stage)? Probably never gonna happen, but it could fit in the current setlist I think.

My mum regretted not having bought a ticket the first time, so today was her lucky day! I got one extra ticket!

This is interesting.
It's so disappointing... I find myself in total confusion since I am not able to fully enjoy the live shows anymore, for I am constantly thinking "are they playing/singing this live?". In the entire setlist (not counting 2-3 songs on the C-Stage), there are a whole of 2 songs (Yellow and Heroes) without any backing tracks. There was a time Coldplay could even be respected by music critics, whether you like their music or not. But now, I am not even sure in how far I can still respect them and see them as true artists, I feel very confused at the moment.... Verstuurd vanaf mijn ONE E1003 met Tapatalk

This is interesting.
I'm curious to see if he's going to playback tomorrow in Exeter, because it will be broadcasted live everywhere. Then people are going to notice.

Yeah, I noticed that a long time ago already. It seems they just try to block out all the noise from the outside for just a moment, otherwise they could go on for days smiling and waving and giving hands to everyone. I think it's understandable, and given they usually hand out a lot of autographs and photos when not performing, I don't think they're acting arrogant or anything :)

This is interesting.
So.. Chris is still playbacking Clocks in Nice.... I played both this version and the one in Argentina simultanously and they are exactly the same.

Up&Up Music Video
Yeah I also think it's not copied but the inspiration looks very evident to me. The (wisest) and the least they could do is give him some kind of mention in the list though.

Up&Up Music Video
I heard this on the Belgian radio today, it seems the Up&Up music video was inspired by Belgian artist Sammy Slabbinck. However there is no mentioning him at all in the credits. The Belgian radio station Studio Brussel talked to him and he said that he had no hard feelings, it might even be a compliment for his work but he still has mixed feelings about not mentioning him at all. I hope this won't be another plagiarism case. Because the similarities of the video and his work are evident (of course it is more the creative directors' work than the boys themselves but still...). Have a look at his work and the most similar one might be this one: Link of interview (in Dutch): http://stubru.be/vincent/coldplayvergeetbronvermeldingvanbrugsekunstenaar

Beautifully brilliant, that's all I can say for now! Edit: and now I hope they will make a video for the full version of the song as well ;)

Yeah... the stage seems the same. What happened to all these nice creative ideas about different stages?
