From the billboard article posted by busybeeburns: Last week in Los Angeles, Billboard heard eight songs recorded for the project, some of which are already familiar to fans from international festival appearances including Glastonbury in the U.K. and Lollapalooza in Chicago. Among those are the relentlessly effervescent first track, "Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall"; the shimmering, syncopated "Charlie Brown"; and "Major Minus," an ominous, thundering beast of a song with rattling guitars, potent (and rare) Buckland solos, and restless, shifting musical patterns. Those three songs, along with others like the bold anthem "Paradise" (the first "proper" single from the record, due Sept. 12); the broad, bass-heavy "Up in Flames"; and the textured romance of "Us Against the World" seem destined to appear on the final version of "Mylo Xyloto." Others, including the loungey build-up that is "Moving to Mars," could potentially not make the record, according to Billboard interviews with Coldplay guitarist Jonny Buckland and front man Chris Martin. exciting day!! can't wait for more news and articles!

Does this mean ETIAW is the album opener then? Or maybe the writer was referring to the first track that he heard. Either way awesome news day and thanks for the cool article. I enjoyed reading the bits describing Up In Flames and Paradise. :D

yea we're overdue for the release of that video and I can't wait to see it! i'm guessing they'll release it this friday or something. Kinda weird how we haven't heard any announcement on it though i don't know if videos usually get announcements. Pretty much this whole LP5-era has been very secretive.

Looks like they finally added the EP to the 'Recordings' section on the official website. Unfortunately they haven't posted the lyrics for the two new songs on there yet, but they could still be updating it.

I'm still sticking with my July 1st theory :sneaky: and also i think you may be right about ETIAW as not an official single because Debs mentioned on here twitter in a convo with @alejolo that a "song" will not be getting a video. Neither refer to the title of the song though so who knows... edit: hahaha nevermind they were most likely talking about the new songs at the festival

on chris' guitar i made out some of the lyrics: "~with a spray can soul" "you use your mic as a weapon" "got one eye on the road and one on you" gettin excited for rock am ring now and lovin the new pix!! awesome find jeremyy!

1-7 release date? Take a look at the very first image from the photoshoot on May 23rd (with the multi-colored swirl and dark figure). In the upper left hand corner you can make out some dark stains on the wall that look like "1-7". What's more is that on the upper right of the 7 it looks like a heart. Reminds me of the ETIAW announcement and the "Love, Will". And the 1st also happens to be a Friday. Hmmm maybe I'm just overanalyzing it haha. edit: here's the image:

I'm seriously starting to doubt the whole 'MX=1010' theory. In the viva la vida video you can see OX written on Chris' right leg and also on the newly painted piano you can see REX written in the middle along the edge. Maybe the X is just a variable and could mean anything so that it would be 'MORE X' or something like that (after adding the letters). I don't know haha but I really don't think they would already be playing 7 songs from the new LP if the release was 4 months away.
