hey a quarter+ of my life is over...you've gotta keep good habits, you're only 0, remember??  and yeah...that 'sweet' connection occurred to me as an afterthought....but still works doesn't it? :D
  14. The guy who wrote that for Kennedy (his speech-writer) passed away recently. They had the goof-up about that on the radio here. And the funny thing is, that sentence is one of the most famous (not infamous!) ones for Americans...most of us don't see the mistake in it! :D or I guess we wish to overlook it :P
  15.  Ich bin ein berliner! "I'm a donut!" good memories, that brings!
  16. Life after uni is fun too! but i've got good memories from high school and uni. my grade 11 was fun!! i loved my English class from that year :-)
  17. yep...pakistanis usually use the wrong tea...most of their tea, they import from Kenya because they don't want to get the good stuff from India. (I'm just making conversation here...lol) hey, you're getting on my case, so I guess I gotta say something to ya... and yep, I usually don't go and bud-in and talk to someone when it's not my place... dania and i can talk just fine without having a third person in between... talk about defending oneself.... :D and yep, it's a board to have fun...so why don't you have fun? that's what I'm doing here every second :-) the "appologizin" was my way of being nice and just having good clean fun... do you need further explanation on my posts? :D

  24. I guess I didn't realize that 'chai' has become a common-place word in the English lexicon. last I saw, it's a Hindi word. And I know what 'chai' is, and how it's made, etc. I'm sure I've had a few dozen cups of it by now :dozey: and yep, i asked her, not you...so why are you being a smartass!? :P I'd rather not talk about this with you....as i said, it's something between her and I... (or is it her and me? :D )
