No at that level at all. If there was a great division of opinions, it was with MX for sure. I don't know if they will come back to their roots, but at least I hope that they reach the feelings of Viva. If they are not going to improve that, I would prefer your idea of a super jazz album than anything else :D

Well, it's clear that X&Y will always be really loved or really hated depending on who's judging it, just like everything else. At this point and taking into account that some prefer one sound and some prefer other styles, I'm very curious of how LP6 can divide people.

For me it is. I am one of those who think that X&Y will be always very underrated for reasons unknown. It was a very special album for me and a friend of mine and we aren't friends anymore, so I will always remember that album. His favorite song on X&Y was A Message. But Viva was very special for us too, it has great songs and was when we went to see them in concert. We could take two LeftRightLeft albums that the merchandise people threw from some boxes in the street. In fact we always played songs of Coldplay in his car. What a beautiful times... I really miss them.

I would describe the lyrics of X&Y like very philosophicals, and that's why I love so much that album. For me the order would be: AROBTTH Parachutes X&Y Viva La Vida MX I hope that LP6 just goes above Viva, with that I would be happy.

^ I'm really hoping that they come here soon, because that concert was the last of them I went to and it left me wanting more and better. I never was in a Mylo Xyloto era concert and I can't stop seeing that everyone here says that those ones were the best concerts, but I expect the next ones to be even better.

^ Yeah I think the same, but well, some people act like that. I don't think the guys had the blame at all. The other concert I went was really amazing.

^ It was in Barcelona, on September 2009. They played in a stadium and just when Violet Hill started it felt like the sound fell down. People were very rude with them and complained a lot. I think that they even were supposed to record a live from that concert, or just a video for one of the songs, with the crowd, but I think that never happened. If so, they didn't use the sound of that concert at all.

I cannot say if the MX era concerts were the best because I only was in two of their concerts and there were in the Viva era, back on 2008 and 2009. The first one was really amazing, but the second one was not so good due to technical problems. The sound was terrible.

My guesses: I think that Atlas will be a blend of Don't Panic and Major Minus, but maybe slower and in two parts like Up With the Birds. Or something similar to that.

It could be funny if the next costumes are super heroes costumes and each one has a different power. We could start speculating about what power each member would have.

By the way, going to the topic of colours, which colour do you think that will be included in a song title? Here are a few (discarding the used ones Yellow, Green, White, Violet, Gold and Brown): Red, Black, Orange, Blue (Well, there is The Blue Room EP, but it's not a song title...) Maybe Silver?

And then the new album would end up with the following name: SOS Very coldplayish name and very coldplayish story in fact, created by the fans. It's so amazing how can we imagine all this... We should be part of the Coldplay team.

A surprise release like Arcade Fire did. I think that an amazing surprise release would be writing the date of release down on a paper, then put it in a bottle and throw it to the sea. But thinking about it better, it could be a problem, so the bottle could end up in a desert island and then nobody could find it and spread the message to the rest of the world. Maybe a message on a plane, like people do when they want to ask for marriage or just to say "I love you" or some kind of message. Coldplay can do that. Well, in fact they can do whatever they want, but here are my ideas.

The best Coldplay album is yet to come, even though AROBTTH was really a very good one.

The new album will be some good shit and that's all.

^ I agree with you because I want something different too, but it's just that everytime is harder to do different things. I mean, maybe I don't want them to do exactly the same album, but if they're not gonna repeat themselves, I just prefer that the new music is similar to that era. Anyways, if we look at bands like The National for example, they do the same kind of music album by album and I like it a lot, just because they do what they know to do at their best.

A blend of the first 3 albums would be really awesome. Come on, we need something like that.

What happened to the tracklist? Why did it change? It was not supposed to include Anniversary and Daydream? It looks that they changed it in the last moment for Another Room and On My Wall.

I think that LP6 will be released in February. I'm just using my intuition.
