if its released and you get to hear it whenever you want, why do you care if its on the album or not. if it isnt, that just means there is space for another song. more coldplay = more :)

i have a coldplay love story, which i wont be sharing with you all unfortunately (even though its way better than this one)

Ok so Coldplay have new instruments, new guitars, piano, etc, all of which have loads of writing on them. The words are in all probability lyrics of songs on LP5. Watching the Rock Am Ring gig, i picked out some of the inscriptions on on of Chris's many guitars, among other other obvious inscriptions such as "MX" and One eye on the road..." Please add anything you find, ill start us off. "Somewhere up above my heart" "Above the stars" "The wreckage of the universe floats past"

for those who think ETIAW wont be on LP5, Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall is written on either jonnys guitar of guys bass cant remember which one, so i doubt they would put it there if it wasnt on the album

quick question. the south africa gigs, theyre not festivals or part of a tour. what does this really mean, what can we expect? what stage will they use, setlist etc?

+1. exactly. so far not one piano song or even a slow tempo song, or a song withot heavy drums. every song seems to have the same blueprint so far. its a guitar intro followed by a massive drum break with more guitars. hoping theres a bit of contrast on the album! "After 2008's Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends, Coldplay have on several occasions stated they want their next studio album to be "more acoustic" and "more intimate" than its predecessor" Not looking like it so far...

chris's voice is sounding insanely perfect! normally 2nd verse of fix you he starts an octive lower but he was confident he was able to carry on higher up, and he nailed it all the way through
