It's the in-ear kind with the bass woofer thing and tweeter. They sound really good. And they have the remote on it to talk on my iPhone and change tracks without pulling the device from my pocket. They're actually a pretty good deal. For around $20, you can get a good pair of over-the-ear ones. I use Apple's in-ear ones ($79) for earbuds, and Bose Triports ($125, new) for sitting around. You can get a pair of Bose ones used for around $50-60. If you don't mind them being used, of course.

Well, I actually tutor the basic 1&2 classes. I'm a chem major with an emphasis on organic so I basically only take organic chemistry. It's starting to piss me off. I hate memorizing mechanisms.
