  1. I don't know. For me, a new track isn't necessarily a new song. It's a new thought/idea being contributed to the storyline of the album. If two songs work well together in that respect I actually prefer it. Plus, it seems that Reign and CSC are more interludes than stand-alone tracks. That's why they rarely ever played them live. I'm a big proponent of artistic purity: art being enjoyed the way the artist wanted it to be. Which is why I love listening to the album start to finish (I rarely listen to just one track on any Coldplay album). Especially something as cohesive and textured as Viva was. Plus, I love every note played on that freaking album. So it's not annoying to me at all! But if you hate Chinese Sleep Chant or Reign I could certainly understand the frustration.
  2. That looks great! I wish I had photoshop skillz.
  3. Well it was just an example of what it would be like if we all agreed on everything. So I agree! I should have indicated that.
  4. Coldplayer 1: I like Coldplay. Coldplayer 2: Me too! Coldplayer 3: I hope they go on tour soon. Coldplayer 2: me too! Coldplayer 3: the new album is going to be good. Coldplayer 1: yes. :blank:
  5. You're not rude! :D Music is meant to be debated. Otherwise, to expand on your original thought, there's no point to this whole forum.
  6. I mean, it's a critic's job to be subjective. Not to suck up to its readers. They're not doing a horrible job if you don't agree with them.
  7. Like a Rolling Stone is an amazing song. You take that back right now. And if you're on the 500 GREATEST ALBUMS EVER...I think that's pretty damn good.

  11. Not the same :phu:
  12. I kinda like the hidden track thing. They do it for a reason, because it's a single idea spanning two songs. For example, I can't picture "reign of love" meaning the same thing to me without LiJ right before it.
  13. I KNOW. I worked there in high school :D They play Coldplay out the butt. Probably why I liked that job so much :awesome:

:waffle: I actually hate waffles. I just like the little icon. spit. pancakes
  15. They'll announce it with Paradise, when it goes up for presale. I don't know why there's so much speculation here. I thought it was pretty obvious.

  18. Agreed! I think PoC will be the best of them once we gets proper versions, though. So maybe add a whole star for that one :)
  19. It's gonna be 10.
  20. No, Rolling Stone uses 5-star reviews for music.
