hahaha i assume you mean the 5 hour long ambient intro! I for one believe that violet hill without the intro would not be violet hill AT ALL. what an amazing choice for a single! Not a lot of bands have experimental stuff like that as a single. Singles are usually kind of....predictable. Violet Hill was different! i believe PARADISE will set the whole mood of MX

Paradise will undoubtedly be something very special. Being a single and beating out CharlieBROWN as the winner of their single choice, makes me very anxious to hear this song. A lot of times in Coldplay songs and in music in general, the first 20 seconds usually makes or breaks a song for me. Charlie Brown won me over with the first 10 seconds. I expect Paradise to be Coldplay single material. Like ETIAW it will be a rock ANTHEM. Something to remember MX for!

as you can tell by my name i am absolutely in deep, lustful love with this track. Not only does it have a phenomenal riff, which reminds me of later 80's rock, a rocking drum riff from Will, and heavy bass from Guy, this song also contains some of the most vivid, deep, mysterious and youthful lyrics the band has shown us. It tells a story that is up for personal connection, not really a concrete story but something we can weave OUR STORY into! I love it! MY LIST (INPO) The Scientist, Viva la Vida, LiT2, Yellow, Politik, Clocks, Strawberry Swing, Fix You, Swallowed In the Sea, Till Kingdom Come

and if they were going to release the official 'SINGLE' from the album i'd say that Hurts Like Heaven has the best chance. Being the kick off to the shows and being the hyper-alt-rock anthem it has the potential to be! (Just dont screw with Chris's voice!!!)

Do you guys really think that they would release a 3 song EP with 3 BRAND NEW SONGS and not put at least one on the album? even the LEAD SINGLE?? Every Tear will be the ending song of LP5. They've said it was a good closer for a long time now. Or even if it doesn't close i think it will be in there somewhere. It just doesn't make any sense to leave it or Major Minus Media off the album.

So if the album really does drop in October...do you really think an announcement in JULY is not too early? I was guessing waaaay back that we wouldn't even know the album name until late August. :\

GUYS GUYS GUYS!!! i think were forgetting the I <3 UFO tags we've been seeing! Many of the UFO tags are preceded by 'I <3' I totally see a song title, or even a lyric. If not that then i suppose it could just be a distinct theme in the record.

Does anybody think that it could possibly be Major Minus Media? I know he said it would be 2 words, but that was just a possibly! they could have added a new word in the mix. I like Major Minus Media! Sounds very memorable..like a classic.

YES! I thought i was the Only one! Love the hidden meanings In songs. I have a feeling that this new record will feel like were listening inside of a Cartoon World. A magical place where anything can happen! :D
