I felt the urge to make this thread because helping loved ones or even strangers is the best gift/feeling to spread. It can be something simple by writing an appreciation note or letter to a friend, family member, neighbor, co-worker, teacher, stranger. It can really make a person smile who might been having a tough time. What is your “RAOK” (random act of kindness) today? Share your RAOK stories/experiences/ideas too. :) Few of my inspirations come from... :loveshower: In my second year of high school, my english teacher had us do a “RAOK”. Classmates took creative ideas to spread the love by anonymously paying a stranger's dinner, complimenting somebody's hair who seemed to be having a bad day, creating positive cards to neighbors, and many other positive uplifting actions. During the past Black Friday, a friend was buying a new TV and her car didn't have enough room to carry the TV. So a stranger randomly offered to help her drive the package to her place with his truck. Even though my friend and her boyfriend were a little suspicious at first sense they didn't know the stranger. It really inspired me to hear a such generous stranger to help my friend when he didn't even work at the store and really took a moment to help a complete stranger. Recently, my university started a facebook group where messages sent by anonymous people are posted to the page for the public to read about positive compliments and appreciative words to friends, family, staff members, students, and even strangers. “This is a social experiment that started at Queen's University in Canada.
