I'm from the U.S. My parents are from Hong Kong - they moved to U.S with their family when they were little teenagers. :)

awesome!.. haha yeah my cousins tend to switch with english and cantonese a lot when talking to the family. ASL is so much fun! I love it and my professor makes it even more fun with his sense of humor. Everyday we're always laughing and smiling in this class, I'm going to miss this class. We had our first “interview” exam today that was one on one with the professor. I wasn't nervous until he turned on the video recorder! :stunned:

Had an ASL interview exam with my teacher. I was so nervous the moment he turned on the video camera and it made a loud beep sound.... after the exam, I laughed at myself how nervous and freaked out I was there...

I've never smoked and not going to. It's horrible for your health and I lost too many people from smoking. When I was just a little kid I lost my great uncle who had a heart attack from smoking too much. And my great aunt passed away with lung cancer from second hand smoke - her husband used to smoke a lot. My grandpa had kidney problems and smoking probably made his health conditions worse- he also passed away sadly before even seeing his grandchildren... My uncle started smoking at a very young age; now he's in his middle ages and still struggling to quit... Next year my college is banning smoking on campus – I'm very curious how is this going to help while many people are against the ban.
